Recruiting for a role going live in early January 2025.

Leading an on-site security team for a well known Data Centre operator, you will be the on-site representative for Security, both for ICTS and for the client.

Working in a modern, fast-paced data centre, you'll manage a site security team of around 10 officers and team leaders to deliver services to client requirements. With full responsibility for operational performance, you will ensure that your teams are recruited, trained, briefed and deployed to provide an effective security presence.

An experienced security professional, you'll manage the day to day operations of the site security and be proactive is identifying and managing risks. You will also act as the incident commander responding to emergencies including fire evacuations, lockdown procedures and other dynamic security risks. You will also use your strong IT skills to maintain and organise systems and records including rotas, monthly reports, and business cases.

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you'll work closely with client representatives, customers and colleagues to investigate, understand and resolve problems. Within this active supervisory role, you will be required to ensure the security and safety of a prestigious client site.

Working as part of a team in a modern, fast-paced environment, you will carry out a range of duties including:

- Overall responsibility for the security operations on shift (SIA checks, uniform and appearance of the officers, team briefing, handover, patrols including CCTV, checks, lock/unlock of premises, reporting any equipment faults)

- Liaise with Site Security Manager for day-to-day operations.

- To report and respond to all security incidents and emergency situations.

- Attending and managing all security related incidents including fire evacuation and conflict management including physical intervention.

- Assisting the Contract Manager to carry out investigations and issues reports of non-conformities or letters of concern when required.

- Responsible for comprehensive report writing in relation to incidents, all daily activities are logged.

- Escalate incidents to ICTS management

- Ensure standing orders as well as Risk Assessments are read, understood, and signed.

- Recommend to Contract Manager any changes needed to standing orders.

- Ensure all security documentation is filled in correctly.

- Ensure Contract Manager is briefed on site activities daily.

- Ensure all security areas are kept clean and tidy.

- Report loss/damage of security equipment

- Able to coach, train and mentor a new team member. Be able to delegate to and empower the team into achieving desired results.

- Able to maintain confidentiality, stay professional and avoid favouritism within the team.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

- 5 year checkable background

- To pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards

- Document to prove eligibility to work within the UK if applicable

- Excellent command of English - both oral and written

- SIA license Door Supervisor or Close Protection

- Full, clean manual UK driving licence

ICTS are looking for reliable and technology savvy Relief Security Officers to ensure the security and safety of premises and people amongst the sites of our Data Centre client in the Slough area.

You'll be required to work 12 hour shifts, and be part of a relief team that will support the ongoing operation to cover holiday and leave. You'll need to be flexible enough respond to last minute blow outs also.

An experienced Security Officer, you will carry out a range of duties in a modern and fast paced environment, including:

- Managing access control for buildings and car-parks - for employees, visitors, and contractors.

- Patrolling the buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect problems.

- Checking and challenging ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.

- De-activating and activating alarms, and unlocking and locking buildings, rooms, external barriers and gates to ensure that no unauthorised personnel or hazards are on site.

- Fire, security and building systems monitoring, including CCTV.

- Identifying and reporting Health & Safety issues and carrying out first aid if necessary.

- Responding to customer requests and queries

ICTS are looking for reliable and technology savvy Control Room Team Leader to effectively lead the alarm monitor teams and coordinate security responses for the sites of our Data Centre client in the Hemel Hempstead area.

An experienced Control Room Operative, you will carry out a range of duties in a modern and fast paced environment, including:

- Monitoring surveillance equipment (CCTV)

- Maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and responding to active alarms

- Compile detailed reports on incidences, health and safety issues and completing handovers

- Direct front line controllers and security officers. Co-ordinate day to day operational needs by assisting the duty Supervisor and reporting directly to the Duty Manager

- Leading the control room team and day to day operational requirements of the control room, including rostering, break management, incident control, HR requirements and other similar duties as needed

- Providing training to all new and existing controllers, liaising with the training manager to ensure all necessary training and refresher training has been completed

- Provide a consistent line of communication with the client regarding any events or communications relating to the control room

- To attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings as required

Knowledge skills & experience

- Able to influence and interact with people at all levels of the organisation

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 07:00 -19:00 - 60 hours per week

A SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) licence is essential, and to succeed in this role you will also need:

- Experience working in alarm monitoring in a multi-functional control room.

- Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills

- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

- Ability to deliver high quality Incident Reports

- Competent IT skills, using packages such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and web applications.

- Willingness to take development training to further your skillset.
