A Supervisory Security Specialist:
- Manages and provides leadership and oversight for a variety of regional Divisional programs, to include, security, and HSPD-12.
- Serves as liaison and technical advisor to agency officials. Responsible for coordinating and ensuring uniform implementation of national strategies and standards, related to security (personnel, physical, industrial and information) and HSPD-12 programs, in direct support of organizational leadership, to include all agency Staff Offices and Services.
- Participates in the development and implementation of work measurement systems, establishes long-range program goals and monitors measures and results.
- Develops collaborative relationships with regional and national level directors, heads of the organization's business lines, and other agency officials.
- Develops, drafts, reviews and completes presentations, documents, etc. related to regional and national security, and HSPD-12 programs, in a timely manner, for consideration and implementation.
This position has job functions that must be executed within a specific geographic location. The official duty station is a federal facility, leased space, or an alternative worksite (typically the employee’s home). Positions include routine telework and also require in-office work (i.e., a hybrid work schedule) that is geographically specific to: Washington, DC.
Starting at $163,964 Per Year (GS 15)
