ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Needle Packaging Set-up Operators will be responsible for production on their designated lines as well as maintaining machine runtime and performing some mechanical repairs. 

• They may be trained on any of the processes or lines in the department to help fill production needs, but will have an assigned focus area to build expertise. 

• They may perform visual inspections as well as assembly or packaging operations. 

• Will be responsible for achieving production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment. 

• May require the use of 10x microscopes, calipers, and/or other miscellaneous gauges. 

• May be required to perform SAP data entries.  Perform changeovers and line clearances. 

• Help maintain inventory of spare parts and prepare for upcoming work on the lines. 

• Must be willing to troubleshoot machines and help identify methods to increase efficiency of the lines. 

• Informal leader of their respective line and responsible for ensuring quality of the product they produce.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education:  

• Must have High School Diploma/GED

Minimum Experience: 

• Prefer a working knowledge of machines and troubleshooting.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities (KSA’s): 

• Problem solving/decision making.

• Computer skills (Microsoft Office).

• Oral and written communication skills.

• Regular, punctual attendance required.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

D Shift (Night) - Shift 6 PM to 6AM

The Equipment Specialist:

• 12 HR -Night Shift Position 6PM - 6AM

• Operates and monitors automated manufacturing equipment and processes.

• Must certify on multiple processes.

• May perform manual manufacturing operations such as manual packing.

Job Summary:
Manages the Scheduling of Operations in Label Print. Responsible for Producing Quality Labels and Mats for Production Orders and External Customers in a Safe Manner, while Minimizing Waste.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Essential Functions of this Position include but are not limited to:

• Managing the Scheduling and Operations of the Printing Press, Slitters and UDI Printers to produce Quality Labels in a timely manner to meet Customer Needs.

• Performing Internal Scheduling of Labels to maintain an Efficient Operation with a Minimum of Down-Time for Major Changeovers.

• Utilizing Mat-Making Equipment to meet Label Manufacturing Requirements.

• Ensuring Quality Standards are being met and completes Quality Investigations, finding Root Cause, Corrective Action, and Preventive Action.

• Coordinating with the Label Print Coordinator to ensure Orders are Set-Up on time.

• Performing Preventative Maintenance of the Printing Equipment in accordance with Equipment Manuals and Vendor recommendations; refer Major Equipment Problems to the Supervisor and/or Engineering Resource.

• Ensuring all Equipment PMs are Completed and orders Parts as needed from the Parts Crib.

• Coordinating with Label Print Engineer and Label Print Coordinator for External Parts and Repairs.

• Inspects the Raw Materials to ensure the proper Label Stock and Ink meet Specifications and communicates with incoming Supply Quality Engineer for any defects.

A Document Services Specialist will be providing a valuable function helping our clients streamline their administration of business operations. This position is located at an Epiq facility or a client office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, revise, reformat, and convert documents using various support software including Microsoft Office applications, PDF editing tools, and transcription software
• Prepare and edit complex documents, spreadsheets, charts
• Provide coordination and administrative support for special projects
• Efficient handling of time sensitive and confidential materials
• Perform document diagnostic activities related to troubleshooting documents inconsistencies
• Create and/or revise work product using direct keyboard entry, scanner or electronic conversion methods of input; transcribes audio and digital dictation including deposition transcripts as required

Basic Purpose
The Associate of Sales Engineering will be the primary technical and product resource and is a key player in the success of the sales team. The Sales Executive, Vertical Form Fill & Seal and Flow Wrapping grows BW Flexible Systems business in assigned territories by securing new machinery orders.  This position is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that will continue to expand the client base and foster customer loyalty within the territory.  The Sales Executive will create and implement both short- and long-term sales objectives and strategies that will meet the needs of the customer, increase market share, increase machinery orders and maximize product servicing. This is accomplished by working within the global corporate structure of BW Flexible Systems, the wider Barry-Wehmiller Packaging Platform, and with our customers in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri.  This position also works with the sales leadership team to research markets and establish strategic directions for growing BW Flexible Systems sales with named key accounts in target industries within North America.  The VFFS & Flow Wrapping Sales Executive encourages others to discover, develop and apply their talents to reach their full potential and actively engages in our Lean journey by building and acting on continuous improvement and development opportunities. 

RESPONSIBLITIES

• Secure new machinery orders for BW Flexible Systems VFFS and Flow
  Wrapping machinery, feed systems, and turn-key integrated packaging line projects that meet or exceed assigned quota

• Responsible for key accounts within a specific target industry, such as Bakery, Confectionary, Pharma/Medical, Non-food, Frozen, Cheese or Protein

• Maintain contact with current and potential customers by building strong relationships and supplying product information to increase the likelihood of future sales orders

• Research regional, client and industry information, analyze industry and client specific data and create and execute account specific strategies and tactics.

• Provide detailed information regarding customer requirements, specifications, applications, etc. so accurate and timely sales proposals are produced for the customer when requested
