As a Business Operations Coordinator, GS-0301-14 MP, you will perform the following duties:

Strategic Planning and Policy

• Reviews agency directives, action memoranda, and other relevant documentation to remain current on proposed and pending actions which may affect assigned responsibilities and impact the organization's operations policies, principles, and procedures.
• Makes recommendations to the CBO and senior leadership that outline operational changes necessary to adhere to systems, principles, and procedures; ensure proper financial action and assignment of directorate/office responsibilities; address impact of regulations or new procedures and actions required to implement them; and project cost estimates for implementing operational strategies.

• Works with the business operations managers (BOMs) and Chief Business Operations (CBO) to coordinate performance management activities for the directorate/office.
• Reviews and monitors the status of performance plans and appraisals for the directorate/office to ensure timeliness of actions and compliance with the NSF general workforce, Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA), and Senior Executive Service (SES) schedules and associated activities. This includes providing assistance and guidance to directorate or office staff on policies, procedures, and guidelines involved in the appraisal process.

• Serves as a subject matter expert on the federal travel process and associated NSF policies and procedures.
• Serves as the organizational expert on human capital and financial tools and systems, ensuring staff receive appropriate access, as needed, and supporting training needs.
• Performs ad hoc and formal analyses of directorate/office administrative systems and business practices (e.g., travel, use of AOAM funds, IPA investments).
• Applies knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods to identify inefficient or ineffective practices and establishes new practices for organization-wide use.
• Establishes working groups to study issues and initiatives, propose solutions, plan implementation, and assess feedback, as needed.

• Implements, analyzes, and monitors the progress of the organization's financial operating plan.
• Informs the CBO, Chief Budget Strategist (or equivalent), and senior managers of potential problems with the organization's commitment of funds.
• Participates in meetings to justify and/or defend the organization's operations and/or financial execution processes or strategies.
• Assists in preparing papers, talking points, and graphical presentations to support meetings with senior organizational leadership.

• Presents compelling rationale to individuals and groups at all levels of the organization.
• Follows up with individuals to understand causes of resistance to changes in administrative, operational, programmatic, and human capital processes and procedures within the directorate/office.
• Coordinates with the CBO, AD/OH, and Deputy Assistant Director (DAD)/Deputy Office Head (DOH) to support organization wide employee engagement activities.

In this position, you will:

• Execute all aspects of the Agency's annual marketing and sales activities, including brand management, product promotion, advertising, digital marketing, social media, and customer relationship management.
• Implement the planning and execution of a multi-year strategy to increase awareness among the Public and Federal Agencies of the Agency's value proposition, authorities, products, services, and capabilities.

The Student Trainee Business Operations Assistant is responsible for performing various administrative support duties in their assigned organization. They may provide administrative support related to NSF's efforts to promote and fund awards through grants, cooperative agreements, and other mechanisms, or may support technical and business operations throughout NSF. • Provides authoritative information to Principal Investigators (PIs) on proposal submission requirements and coordinates with PIs to obtain necessary information for incomplete proposals.

• Enters budget and award data into the appropriate system for funded proposals.

Project Management:

• Plans, develops, implements, communicates, and tracks project plans, guidelines, budgets, procedures, and timetables.

The Role

As a Sales & Retention Specialist with Lyka, you'll attend pop-up sales events across Sydney (eg at markets and shopping centres) and promote the benefits of Lyka, with the goal of achieving new subscriptions. What you will do

• Responsible for sales plan achievement of assigned geographic area within the territory

• Lead the day-to-day high volume activities of an experienced district or branch sales team ensuring we meet or exceed customer and sales goal expectations. 

• Partner with Area Sales Manager to develop sales strategies, negotiate contracts and complete pricing strategy to develop new business and maintain existing business. . 

• Review and monitor sales performance, and refine sales strategies as required to ensure employee successfully meets assigned goals and objectives. Reallocate resources to improve overall results as needed. 

• Supply to the development of marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for the district or branch. 

• Ensure the sales force receives coaching and training on the technical aspects of the organization’s products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures, and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets. 

• Create and drive local sales strategy in alignment with enterprise programs and strategies 

• Build, hire, develop and align an impactful team 

• Focus on high level customer (internal and external) networking and drive growth through collaboration and customer success. 

• Lead all sales activities for the area’s geographic boundary for the fire alarm, security, fire sprinkler and fire suppression businesses. 

• Grow and retain the recurring revenue base and associated service revenues by directly coaching/mentoring/training sales teams. 

• Collaborate with other area and nationally based sales leaders to demonstrate standard processes and achieve company objectives in growing the national account customer base... 

• Develop business plans for the territory including business development strategies, sales staffing, sales market assignments, strategic customer development and industry relations 

• Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance standards in alignment with assigned objectives. 

• Conduct regular “ride along” sessions with employees to coach, mentor, and meet with key clients to assist sales representatives with building and strengthening relationships, skills and negotiating and closing new business. 

• Responsible for administering, communicating and staying in sync with all company policies and procedures, whether formally or informally communicated.

Job Description:

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring exceptional client service at one of our on-site support services centers or client sites. Will also responsible for the supervision of all employees at the site, including recruiting, training, and development of their professional skills.

• Manage and oversee all assigned locations, personnel, and equipment for a client with multiple locations nationally

• Oversee the Site Managers and potentially other employees at multiple site locations

• Develop strategies to achieve 100% client satisfaction

• Strategically engage Epiq resources to support proactive solutions and industry trends with client

• Scheduled/Unscheduled travel to all client locations to monitor account performance

• Monthly meeting/touch points with clients in all offices

• Perform Annual end-user survey and Semi-Annual Client survey

• Records and Information Governance leadership and workflow experience preferred

• Minimum 2 years’ management experience with heavy profit and loss responsibility

• Minimum of 2 years’ professional level work experience in a production environment and/or a client-service oriented field

• Working knowledge of PC applications including Microsoft Office software

• Knowledge ofand utilization of typical office services equipment and technology

• Extensive travel and on-site location work at times

The Compensation range for this role is $110,000 to $140,000 USD per year and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.

• Mail Services includes metering, sorting, and distributing mail and accountable packages per schedule

• Copy Services includes accurately producing copy, print and scan projects per written instructions

• Reception includes answering incoming telephone calls and routing to the appropriate person, will greet and announce visitors in a friendly and professional manner

• Hospitality Services includes coordinator and upkeep of client conference rooms, common areas and kitchens. Inspect and ensure that all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies and ready for continual use. Organize and distribute client kitchen supplies. Maintain inventory control and order supplies as needed.

• Floor Coordination includes the upkeep of copy rooms and stocking of general supplies, delivery of paper, and basic daily maintenance

• Facilities Services may include hanging pictures, small office moves, cleaning services and communication with key client contacts regarding building/equipment concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum of 1 year work experience in a customer services field

• Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater
