We are looking for a cleaning supervisor for ongoing work in the Bracknell area.

The working hours are 18:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday

The pay rate is £13.92 per hour.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff activities to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
2. Train new cleaning staff members on proper cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
3. Schedule and assign cleaning tasks to team members, ensuring all areas are cleaned according to established standards and schedules.
4. Inspect work performed by cleaning staff to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
5. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
6. Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs for cleaning equipment.

Food/Beverage Service Facilities: Carries supplies and equipment, such as fruits, glasses, lines, and flatware from storage areas to the bar or dining area. Fills ice bins and crushes ice. All Facilities: Loads/unloads, transports and stores supplies, equipment or other items. Performs basic cleaning such as: sweeping/mopping floors, dusting, straightening customer service areas such as lobbies, exercise rooms etc. Dusting furniture/equipment, cleaning glass. Assist with cleaning bathroom/shower/locker room and car wash areas or assisting with general maintenance such as touch-up painting, replacing light bulbs, washing/drying and replenishing towels, or stocking soap/paper towels/toilet paper.
Performs general lawn care tasks such as cutting grass, edging/weed eating, pulling weeds, raking, and shoveling. Upon completion of tasks, cleans and properly stores equipment after use. Picks up debris and empties all trash receptacles daily. Notifies the supervisor immediately of any missing items and equipment malfunctions needing repair.
Sets up room (s) according to supervisor instructions. Insures all needed equipment is in working condition. Breaks down room (s) upon completion of the function. Stores equipment used or re-sets room for the next function/activity. Assists in unloading and loading of trucks. Opens, unpacks and removes content of cartons and stores in assigned locations.

Install, repair/ replace hot & cold-water supplies, including baths, showers and toilets and waste systems

Locate and repair hot and cold-water bursts

Clear blocked drains and toilets

Trace, diagnose & identify faults on hot & cold-water systems

What is needed

Must have served a recognized Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3).

Competent in all aspects of plumbing trade discipline and with experience of maintenance work on domestic and commercial properties, pre pain repairs and refurbishments.

A background of plumbing and experience in the installation of wet rooms & Disabled adaptions.

Experience working within social housing environment doing bathroom replacements, pipework alterations and other repairs.

Demonstrated ability to work with own initiative and deal with problems encountered.

A current driving license is essential

The work is long term with view to permanent if candidates would like this option after 13 weeks have been completed.
