Job Title: Carpenter

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in all aspects of carpentry, including framing, finishing, and installation. They will be responsible for constructing and repairing various structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
* Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and other materials.
* Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
* Install doors, windows, trim, and other building components.
* Finish carpentry work, including sanding, staining, and painting.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
* Work effectively as part of a team.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed.
* Inspect and maintain tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter.
* Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints.
* Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
* Knowledge of various building materials and techniques.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
Basic Requirements:
* Tools: Must possess a comprehensive set of hand and power tools necessary for carpentry work. This includes, but is not limited to, saws, hammers, drills, levels, measuring tapes, and safety equipment.
* Experience: Demonstrable experience in framing, finishing, and installation. Specific examples of past projects should be provided during the interview process.
* Physical Demands: The position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
* Safety: A strong commitment to workplace safety is essential. Candidates must be familiar with and adhere to all relevant safety regulations.
