PRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve as Training and Exercise Planner; providing planning, analysis, design, development implementation, and evaluation of training events for both internal and external audiences. Assist with the execution of the Joint Exercise Program to sustain joint force readiness throughout the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility. Develop, plan, and prepare to execute battle staff training and exercises for Headquarters, USCENTCOM, Service Component, and Joint Task Force Staffs to prepare for current and future missions including crisis and steady state operations.

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.

• Incumbent serves as project leader for the planning, development, coordination, and implementation of major real estate projects that impacts multiple IRS locations and/or organizations. In this role, he/she typically directs at least two (2) project teams responsible for implementing real estate projects impacting over 50,000 square feet of space, involving a project budget of $2 million to $7 million, and generally lasting no more than one to two years in duration. However, some larger and more complex build-to-suit locations or projects could last more than 24 months. Provides key oversight to team members and ensures all project tracking and documentation aspects are completed accurately, thoroughly, and timely.
