About the role
As Conservation Project Manager you will bring together project management skills, specialist conservation and collections care expertise, problem solving, and team leadership skills to deliver collections projects at NCC. More information about NCC can be found below.

Reporting to the Group Conservation Manager, you will work collaboratively and proactively with other Project Managers and departments to enable the Conservation team to deliver Masterplan and Collections Services projects. This includes ensuring that conservation and collection care elements are correctly scoped and resourced and that conservation budgets are managed accordingly.

You will manage and matrix manage conservators across several projects. Using your conservation specialist knowledge of materials and practices, you will help your team plan works and review processes to ensure they are fit for purpose, making decisions to improve efficiencies and ways of working.

Full time (35 hours), Fixed term contract until Dec 2025 - Hybrid working from Wroughton Office.
Offering £40,133 per annum

There may be the possibility of the extension for this role depending on the Science Museum Group work programme.

About you
You will have solid experience of conservation project management with the ability to analyse, forward plan, coordinate and manage people. From this, you have the ability to find innovative conservation solutions to complex problems, and to define and report on key performance indicators, key dependencies and milestones and risk.

My client is a long established, leading, regional Civil Engineering Contractor.

The Clinical Innovation Adoption Senior Project Manager will: Facilitate the adoption and adaption of innovations across the region by engaging and working with clinicians and managers from providers and commissioners and the HIOTV on projects that address clinical priorities as identified nationally and locally. Identify and assess innovations suitable for adoption; this includes NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) projects and activities. Where appropriate consider combinatorial innovation solutions for therapeutic areas and their pathways. Manage the process for successful adoption through service pathway redesign. Manage a pipeline of high impact innovations across the HIOTV region. Ensure evidence to support the change in clinical practice is sourced and clear. Agree implementation plans for uptake nationally and locally of sourced innovative technology (including NICE TAs) where there is a demonstrable clinical need. Work closely with the HIOTVs Strategic and Industry Partnerships (commercial team) to support commercialisation of innovations as appropriate. Ensure provider budgets are in place to enable technology adoption providing supporting papers for directors of finance in NHS trusts. Work with the CIA PMO to determine resource requirements to ensure that the team skills are engaged for delivery. Work closely with the regional medicines management team to implement and report on uptake of NICE TAs linked to national, regional and local programmes. Agree clear evaluation criteria and health economics with the commissioning organisations to enable decisions to scale or reject the innovation and service transformation. The Clinical Innovation Adoption Senior Project Manager will:
• Facilitate the adoption and adaption of innovations across the region by engaging and working with clinicians and managers from providers and commissioners and the HIOTV on projects that address clinical priorities as identified nationally and locally.
• Identify and assess innovations suitable for adoption; this includes NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) projects and activities.
