Job Scope:
â–ª Assists to formulate, implement and review plans for the development of GROs and the community.
â–ª Attends monthly meetings of the GROs assigned and takes follow-up actions.
â–ª Acts as a catalyst to encourage and assist the GROs to plan and implement community projects.
â–ª Provides administrative and logistical support and guidance to the GROs to facilitate eff ective implementation of their activities.
â–ª Co-ordinates the recruitment, appointment and reappointment of members of the GROs to ensure a high level of involvement and minority group participation.
â–ª Explains government policies, facilitates discussion and channels feedback to appropriate parties to develop and strengthen the GROs as an effective communication channel between the government and the people.
â–ª Mobilises residents to participate in national campaigns and projects
â–ª Assists to submit progress reports on the GROs, provide feedback and recommend changes and improvements, thereby facilitating communication and co-ordination.
â–ª Assists to supervise and guide staff in the Constituency Off ice to ensure optimal utilisation of human resources in achieving constituency and targets.
â–ª Initiates marketing / promotion eff orts to develop and promote CC programmes to meet targets set.
â–ª Assists Constituency Managers in organising community outreach and projects, including sub-group activities.
â–ª Provides information and handles enquiries on CC services to the general public.
â–ª Promotes CC membership scheme/activities/courses/events
â–ª Meets Service Standards at all times
Other duties include:
Administration
â–ª Together with the appointed Finance Coordinator, ensures the proper accounting
and cash management of the GROs.
â–ª Monitors the budgetary requirements and expenditure controls of the GROs.
â–ª Ensures timely preparation of monthly and yearly statements of accounts of CC-
based committees for the committees’ endorsement.
â–ª Ensures the Treasurer of the non CC-based committees carry out timely
preparation, approval and submission as required of monthly and yearly
statements of accounts.
Business Development
â–ª Reviews and evaluates the relevance of all CC courses in meeting the recreational, social and educational needs of the residents. Submits evaluation reports and findings to committees on a regular basis.
â–ª Plans and designs marketing strategies to develop and promote CC courses.
â–ª Identifi es and builds positive working relationships with external parties to promote interesting and novel courses and programmes at the CC.
â–ª Provides supervision and guidance to the Constituency Support Officers to facilitate effective implementation of their courses and the day -to-day operations at the counter.
â–ª Supervises Constituency Support Off icers in handling feedback, complaints and enquiries of public professionally.
â–ª Supervises and guides the staff in administering the Community Centre/Club Management System to maintain the membership/facilities and courses data.
Operations
â–ª Coordinates with Facility Manager/Facility Executive from Logistic Works Division to work with Managing Agent (MA) to upkeep the facility of the CC.
â–ª Oversees the maintenance, security and housekeeping (cleaning, pest control and horticulture services) of CC.
â–ª Coordinates among the CC Management Committee, Co-users of CC, MA and HQ for all works and services carry out in the CC building.
â–ª Ensures service standards are met.
â–ª Conduct inspections daily to ensure that the CC is clean and feedback on the defects of CCs at regular intervals to ensure established standards are met.
â–ª Follow up on replies, reminders, and queries on MA/maintenance matters, which are outstanding and requiring actions/confi rmation.
â–ª Performs any other matters related to the housekeeping, security, and maintenance of CCs.
▪ Attends regular meeting to ensure MA’s service standards are met.

Location: Tampines
Contract Duration: Immediate – 17 May 2025
Working Hours:
5 Day (flexible; 3AM & 2PM) work week (4 weekdays 1 weekend)
AM: 9am – 6pm
PM: 1pm to 10pm
Salary: $2,800 - $3,300
