Roles and Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Investigating material and workmanship complaints, working with National Contracting and our Supply business

The ideal candidate for the role of Technical Coordinator will possess extensive asphalt knowledge in terms of performance and testing. Suitable candidates for the role of Technical Coordinator will also have gained experience working as a site or laboratory materials technician and have:

• Strong understanding of civil engineering materials, materials testing (Asphalt and Concrete) and site construction operations
• Strong knowledge of UKAS compliance, technical requirements and relevant Standards and their application
• Knowledge of asphalt operations and techniques
• Experience of compiling reports for both internal and external customers
• Confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Be confident in offering solutions to customers based on material selection or pavement design advice
• Good IT capability
• Good communications skills
