You will be accountable for technical program planning and execution.....
- You will be accountable for technical program planning and execution at NSWCCD.
- You will provide technical support to the Maritime Administration and the maritime industry. These efforts are carried out, in many cases, in test facilities unique within the Department of Defense (DoD).
- You will be responsible for the long-term stewardship of Division technical capabilities, including facilities and people, and the support infrastructure for Technical Authority Warrant Holders.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that NSWCCD understands and adheres to all federal and state environmental laws and regulations.
- You will be responsible for the assessment of future DON and DoD needs and the potential of the technology and the political environment affecting national defense efforts.
- You will stewardship decisions integrate factors such as current and future Navy needs, emerging technologies and their prognosis, national and international political trends, university and industrial capabilities, technical risk, and affordability.
- You will develop and execute long term business plans and investment plans describing the current and future investments required by the division to meet current and future customer requirements.
- You will oversee the programs and infrastructure of NSWCCD.
- You will collaborate with other division DTDs and customers to optimize national work alignment.
