The successful candidate will work as part of the fetal cardiology CNS teams supporting patients and their families through pregnancy, new diagnosis, and handover to the paediatric team postnatally. They will act as an expert resource to families and junior staff and will be expected to educate families and staff regarding cardiac conditions. They will advocate for families and patients when required. They will provide nurse-led services, as well as supporting patients and families with information regarding their cardiac condition and healthcare needs. They will liaise with community teams including obstetric teams. community teams, GPs, local hospital teams, palliative care specialist teams, and safeguarding teams.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Symptom Control and Palliative Care team at the Royal Marsden Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and we are inviting expressions of interest for the post.
The successful applicant will be expected to work, cross site at both Chelsea and Sutton, as part of a multi-professional team in assessing and advising patients with palliative care needs, their families/carers and other healthcare professionals. Evaluating interventions and adjusting them accordingly will be part of the role on a day-to-day basis. A Vacancy at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.


Two locum consultant radiologist posts are required to support increased activity in cross-sectional radiology at the Royal Marsden. This is due to continued expansion of radiology services, which reflects the increase in clinical activity in surgery and oncology in the Trust. The post holders will require in-depth knowledge and experience in oncological CT and MR imaging, including body MRI. There will also be a requirement to undertake general ultrasound and competency in performing ultrasound guided diagnostic biopsies is desirable.

In addition to clinical reporting there will be a requirement to participate in MDT activity which forms a significant proportion of the radiology department’s work. The post holders will form part of the teams supporting the Lower GI and Skin MDT activity (post 1) and Sarcoma (post 2).

The post holder will join an enthusiastic, cohesive team which is motivated to deliver excellence in clinical care and participate in radiology research and innovation. A proven track record in research is desirable but not essential.

The Royal Marsden Hospital has branches in London and Surrey, and the posts will involve working at all sites.

The post holders will for part of the diagnostic on-call rota which is currently a 1:12.
