Arrange trips and outings to enable Residents to engage in offsite activities to maintain their hobbies and interests.

About the 1:1 Teaching role:   

Hourly Rate: £25 - £30 per hour  

Location: Bedfordshire and surrounding areas e.g. Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Shefford, Biggleswade.

Days required: 5 days per week- Monday to Friday (Term time only)

Flexible working hours: 9am-12pm and/or 12pm-4pm

Sugarman's Children Services are looking for experienced Teachers to provide face to face alternative provision to SEN / SEND/ SEMH/ children and young people with challenging behaviours in and around Bedfordshire. This covers surrounding areas such as Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Shefford, Biggleswade, Ampthill, Dunstable.

Our Children's Services division specialises in supplying trained and experienced teachers during or after school, including in a student's own home, on school premises or an alternative agreed venue.

To be eligible for this role you must have the following:    

• QTS or Equivalent    

• Have a strong subject knowledge (English, Maths, Science and Functional Skills)    

• Minimum 2 years' experience working with children / young people in a classroom setting    

• Enhanced DBS on the update system    

• Hold right to work in the UK    

• Knowledge and understanding of the Safeguarding Policy    

• Taught in a classroom setting in the UK

Prescribing Practice To provide expert pharmacy advice to POAC patients, including participation in cross speciality MDT discussions. Responsible for the appropriate management of patients referred for medicines optimisation / reconciliation input or who otherwise fall within the agreed scope of practice. Work with consultants and the pharmacy team to promote best practice in the pharmaceutical care of patients in line with national and local guidance. These policies will require co-ordination with a wide range of other professionals and will impact on prescribing practice across the speciality. Clinical Assist the multi-disciplinary team in the pharmaceutical care of each patient by: Suggesting alterations to patients complicated medication regimes to simplify and aid therapy compliance. Actively participating in clinic related activities and multidisciplinary team meetings providing clinical and financial advice if appropriate. Promoting rational, safe and economic use of medicines. Pharmacy Leadership In collaboration with other Advanced Specialist Pharmacists to jointly provide professional, managerial and clinical leadership to the team of pharmacy staff involved in the delivery of pharmaceutical services to the relevant Clinical Service Lines. To provide active support and mentorship to both Foundation and Senior Rotational Pharmacists to further develop their leadership potential Develop, implement and monitor pharmacy services to ensure they are consistent with Trust priorities and requirements and are aligned to the over-arching patient focussed ethos of the pharmacy service whilst ensuring compliance with medicines legislation.
