We are looking for a new team member to join the Fixed Income Beta Solutions Investment Team within State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) in Boston. You will join a dynamic, successful, collaborative team of investment professionals, managing SSGA's index fixed income portfolios, bringing market-leading solutions to our clients.
The Global Fixed Income team comprises a team of over 100 investment professionals in eight global locations. The Fixed Income Beta Solutions Team manages $555 billion in fixed income ETFs, mutual funds and mandates (as of June 30, 2023) across a broad spectrum of products on behalf of a wide range of clients.

What we need you to do:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to close primary and secondary bank loan transactions and execute amendments for existing positions.
- Assist in the management of a diversified U.S. broadly syndicated loan portfolio.
- Monitor primary loan market opportunities with a focus on managing sector and corporate credit risk exposures in the portfolio.
- Review Credit Agreements.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships across all business and third-party collaborators to ensure a sufficient bank loan operating model.
- Maintain the highest possible fiduciary standards.
Who you are:

Skill sets needed:
- 3-5 years in a similar role at a buy-side or sell-side firm, CLO manager or service provider; Bank loan closing experience is required.
- A broad knowledge of bank loans, back office and OMS systems, broker and custodian operations to proactively support the continual development and operational enablement of bank loans.
- Familiarity with Virtus, Wall Street Office, ClearPar and Leveraged Loan Indices
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to initiate and manage projects, problem solve and multi-task
- Ability to perform at a high-level in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced IT skills (Python; Bloomberg; Microsoft: Access, Excel, Visual Basic)
- Graduate degree and/or CFA Charterholder/Candidate is highly preferred
