The clinical fellow will primarily be based on the geriatric medicine wards with responsibility for the ongoing care of patients on the 32-bedded ward. The exact pattern of working days will be decided with the successful applicants with the aim of providing as much cover and continuity as their resource allows. They will enable rapid discharge and provide timely review of patients under their care. The clinical fellow will be directly supervised by a senior trainee in addition to the ward consultant.



The post holder will participate in HSEP ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings. They will develop skills in identifying and managing frailty, delirium, and dementia. Working with the ward MDT and community teams they will develop person-centred plans for the management plans for in-patient care and post-discharge.

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting a Deputy Group Car Parking Manager to work as part of the parking team for the Royal Free Group.

The parking team manage the car parks and all queries regarding parking on our sites from staff, visitors, contractors and the public. This includes the management of long- and short-term permits, parking payments, PCN appeals and complaints. We aim to provide timely responses and excellent customer service at all times, facilitating access to our sites for staff and service users.

The post holder will support the Group Car Parking Manager with the delivery of a high-quality car parking service across all sites including the Royal Free, Barnet, and Chase Farm Hospitals. They will be expected to visit all sites under the control of the parking service and provide management oversight for the Parking Team, checking their work is being carried out to a high standard and supporting with any issues or development needs.

We are seeking a team player with a passion for customer service, an eye for detail and who will uphold our values for the provision of a fair, equitable and transparent service. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

As the key point of contact for the parking team, your role will be to oversee the administration of the service, monitoring responses, assisting the team in times of peak workload and dealing with escalation of more complex queries. You will also be required to travel across the sites, monitoring the safety and services provided by our team and contract partners and resolving issues as they arise.

You will deal with queries and process permit requests, parking exemptions and penalty charge notices; following processes to ensure appropriate and fair decision-making regarding parking access and charges. You will also carry out regular compliance checks to ensure the service is being provided appropriately and deal with any issues of non-conformance or payment issues.

You will need to be customer service focussed, communicating in a polite and friendly manner, and demonstrating tact and diplomacy when discussing the needs of the service user. You will interact with stakeholders using various forms of communication including face-to-face attendance at site inductions and drop-in sessions.

You will be working in a fast-paced service and will need to be able to prioritise tasks and manage the workload of yourself and your team accordingly.

As an accountable registered ITU nurse you will be responsible for delivering excellent care to allocated level 2 or 3 patients providing total patient care to a range of medical and surgical patients including hepatology, infectious disease, cardiac, rheumatology and we are a specialist surgical centre for Hepatobiliary, Vascular and Renal surgery.

The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for critically ill adults with supervision from senior staff.

The Post holder will develop specialist knowledge and competence in caring for critically ill adults by attending the introduction to intensive care course and by working with their mentors and clinical practice educators.

The post holder is expected to supervise and teach unqualified staff with the support and supervision of more senior members of the team.

To maintain a safe clinical environment conducive to patient care.

This means that full COVID19 vaccination will be a condition of employment in all NHS roles which have face-to-face contact with patients and service users from 1 April 2022 unless exempt.
