- Incumbent plans, directs and manages the work of the Branch, including budgets and schedules.
- Makes final recommendations to supervisor on current and long-range plans for resource requirements, to include budget, personnel and space requirements.
- Represents the Division in negotiating major contracts and scopes of work with professional services firms, universities and colleges, and firms specializing in environmental and cultural resource evaluation, in connection with USACE mission areas.
- Provides oversight in preparation of materials, programs and exhibits for presentation to public and private groups, local conservation commissions, watershed organizations, and municipal, state and federal Government agencies.
- Represents the District by leading and/or participating in regional and national meetings to build interagency, intra-agency, and stakeholder relationships and to identify collaboration opportunities.
