The Client:
Melbourne City Medical is a medical centre located in Melbourne CBD that offers a range of customised medical care and treatment plans. They now seek an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join their team.
The Role:
The position for hire is a Sales and Marketing Manager and will be for a full time basis at $98,800 per annum, and will be based at their Melbourne CBD workplace.
The Responsibilities:
· Assist the Director in promoting medical packages for foreign patients, in collaboration with other managers and health professionals within the company.
· Support the Director in marketing laser cosmetic services for both foreign and local residents.
· Develop a comprehensive marketing plan that encompasses sales, revenue, and expense controls, ensuring targets are met and enhancing the organisation's visibility in China.
· Organise and manage sales activities by defining geographical sales areas and setting customer service standards.
· Oversee the creation of promotional materials and online marketing campaigns, utilising social media to generate inquiries.
· Achieve profitable results through the sales team by fostering team development through motivation, counselling, skills enhancement, and product knowledge.
· Analyse and advise the Director on competitive positioning, monitoring competitor activity, market trends, and statistical data.
· Coach and train sales and marketing staff, as well as agents in China and Australia.
· Report to the Director on budgets, market opportunities, sales results, and staff performance.
The Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree
· At least 5 years of managerial experience in sales and marketing
· In-depth understanding of the medical industry, including operational models, procedures
· Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills
· Proven team-building and leadership abilities
· Proficient in analytical thinking and problem-solving
· Solid financial acumen, with strong program planning and organisational skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and verbal)
· Established network within private and public medical institutions, or prior experience in a similar role is preferred
