About the Role

As a Maintenance Person for Maria Mallaband care group you will be part the care homes team and as such work with other staff to ensure the safety of all the Service Users, visitors and employees. Overview of the job

This is an administrative role based within the Probation Service (PS) Directorate in HMPPS. The job holder reports to the designated Line Manager and supports the provision of business specific and transactional office-based activities.

Responsibilities, Activities & Duties

The job holder will be required to carry out the following responsibilities, activities and duties:

• To be first point of contact for Probation Service and greet people on probation and visitors professionally both face to face and via telephone and email, logging their arrival and departure, ensuring the appropriate member of staff is notified and issue visitor passes and security fobs as necessary.

• To deal with all logistics for a building including managing all mail items, ordering PPE and office stationery, meeting room equipment, taking delivery of items and ensuring they get to the right destination and managing room, hot desk and car parking bookings, support and service meeting rooms including preparing for events and event registration as required.
• To pay bus fares/travel warrants to people on probation and handle day to day petty cash including collection and transport of petty cash and travel warrants between Probation properties.
• To assist in maintaining Health and Safety and security aspects of the building, including acting as key holder, operating the physical security of the building, the testing of fire alarms, testing panic alarms, monitoring CCTV and assisting evacuation measures and where necessary to act as Fire Warden/First Aider and
in the absence of a line manager to support risk assessments where trained.
• To log building faults and incidents and keep a log of maintenance and repairs escalating issues through the appropriate channels and making decisions (within guidelines) on the urgency of the faults in order to maintain the security of the building. In the absence of the Senior Admin Officer escorting contractors and visitors around the building.
• Where necessity arises to support the case administration of Person on Probation by providing a confidential and high-level administrative support service to operational teams, to include:
o Process and update computer based and manual files and filing systems
o Use a range of computer software in providing comprehensive administration support
o Produce a range of documentation and correspondence
o To access databases for information as necessary and input information as required
o Scanning and archiving data, some of which is sensitive and highly confidential

• Plan, implement and review a range of interventions for children, young people and families/carers in accordance with statutory/regulatory and operational standards, policy and procedures for the service.
• Manage a workload independently, seeking support and suggesting solutions for workload difficulties.

The post holder will provide day-to-day administrative support for the IG team to ensure the team runs efficiently and effectively. This includes, monitoring shared team mailboxes, collating and requesting information for assessments, investigations and the DSPT.

The post holder will be responsible for producing reports for presentation at the relevant Trust’s assurance and monitoring groups, including the minute taking and preparing of the Information Governance Group and will also support the Information Governance Manager and IG Team in relation to general IG queries
• Expert knowledge and understanding of Information Governance standards including confidentiality, data protection and the new general data protection regulations.
• Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of any systems or processes implemented as part of the ongoing management of compliance with all information governance legislation, including a system to record data protection decisions.
• Log complaints to the DPO and assist in collation of investigation evidence.
• Provide advice on general information governance queries, escalating more serious matters to the IG Manager.
• To participate when required at the Information Governance Group (IGG) meetings, produce and circulate reports and undertake any follow up actions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust's Information Governance Team at East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust. You will be joining a busy team, providing support to the wider IG team.

As a live-in care specialist, you’ll provide companionship and support with personal care, domestic tasks and housekeeping (cooking, washing,ironing, vacuuming etc), so your client can live well in the home they love.

What you’ll need:

No experience required - We provide all the training you need to succeed
Or, you may have worked as a live-in carer, domiciliary carer, care assistant, support worker, healthcare assistant or similar and are looking to further develop your skills
Good communication skills and ability to maintain clear and accurate records

Eligibility to work in the UK
As this is a live-in position you will need to commit to living with your client for a minimum of 10-12 weeks at a time, although many of our Carers choose to stay in their placements for longer periods before having an extended break
