Ozark National Scenic Riverways is located in the heart of the Ozark Highlands of Missouri, in the southeastern portion of the state on the Current and Jack's Fork Rivers. The park features 134 miles of crystal clear, spring-fed rivers that are flanked by scenic bluffs, low mountains, and numerous springs and caves. Recreational opportunities abound and include kayaking, "tubing", fishing, hunting, and swimming. Hiking and mountain biking trails are plentiful in the area.

The duty stations for these positions is either Eminence, Missouri or Van Buren, Missouri. Limited shopping, medical, and dental are available. Chaco Culture NHP is located in the Four Corners area of New Mexico. The nearest towns are Bloomfield - 65 miles northwest, Farmington - 75 miles northwest, and Aztec - 70 miles northeast. The nearest grocery store is located at Crownpoint - 39 miles south. Schools, shopping, doctors, hospital, etc. are located in the towns of Bloomfield, Farmington, and Aztec. Closest elementary and high schools are 65 miles one way in Bloomfield. Roads from the south are all dirt for 19 miles. Precipitation for the area is minimal. Provide administrative support to management and staff, on the practical and clerical aspects of office administration, to include human resources, payroll, travel, budget, acquisition and property management, and other administrative support services. Examples of duties include:

• Provide advisory services to staff on administrative functions to facilitate understanding and compliance to agency rules and regulations.

AREA INFORMATION:
Dinosaur National Monument: Dinosaur National Monument is a spectacular 210,000-acre medium-sized park with mega-park values. Dinosaur has the most complete geologic record of any national park area and an internationally renowned display of Jurassic era dinosaur bones. The rugged landscape provides habitats that support a diverse assemblage of plants and animals and critical habitat for endangered species. People have been living on this landscape for over 10,000 years and the evidence of their activities can be seen in numerous rock art sites and homesteads. The whitewater rafting and magnificent scenery found in the canyons of the Green and Yampa rivers provide premier Western boating experiences. The Yampa is the only remaining large tributary in the Colorado River system that retains its free-flowing character. Dinosaur is over 90% recommended wilderness and was certified as a Dark Sky Park in 2019. Dinosaur National Monument spans a remote area of NE Utah and NW Colorado that is a 3.5 hour drive from Salt Lake City, Utah and a 6 hour drive from Denver, Colorado. Fossil Butte National Monument: Fossil Butte is a 52-million-year-old lake bed and one of the richest fossil localities in the world. The monument is located in southwestern Wyoming and considered a high desert environment with an elevation of 7,000 feet. Sagebrush is the dominant vegetation at the lower elevations, while limber pine and aspen occur on the slopes. Pronghorn, Mule deer and a variety of birds are commonly seen. Moose, elk and beaver are sometimes observed. Winters are snowy and cold, with temperatures in the single digits and below zero. Summers are relatively mild, with high temperatures peaking in the low 90s. The nearest town is Kemmerer, WY, population 3,000, and is 15 miles east of the park and provides opportunities for shopping, a movie theater, rec center, doctors, dentists, churches and schools (K-12).
