As a Wildlife Refuge Specialist your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for planning and carrying out work assignments involving technical biological and habitat restoration/development projects for the Refuge/WMD.
• Collects, enters into various data bases, and analyzes data from assigned habitat management projects to verify content validity and ensure no errors on input.
• Prepares reports on progress and completion of studies for the Wildlife Refuge Manager and other senior management, who use the data in the formulation of future programs and improvements in Refuge/WMD management practices.
• Plans and schedules operations and maintenance projects. Develops various work plans and makes recommendations to senior management.
• Works closely with Engineering and Contracting staff to organize projects covering limited construction, repair and maintenance of equipment, buildings, roads, trails, fences, dikes and other infrastructure.

• YOU WILL/MAY:
• Ensure that regulated establishments produce a safe product by executing appropriate inspection methods, determining non-compliance with regulatory requirements, documenting noncompliance and initiating enforcement action, where warranted.
• Verify that meat and poultry slaughter and/or processing establishment's Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Plans meet regulatory requirements.
• Execute Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Plans effectively to prevent unsanitary conditions and adulteration of product.
• Review records, observe plant operations and conduct hands-on verification to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and prepare detailed documentation (Non-Compliance Records) of non-compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Determine when regulatory control action is necessary. You will assess whether the plant's corrective or preventative actions are acceptable and effective, if there are trends in non-compliance, or if enforcement action is warranted.
• Conduct regulatory oversight activities inside plants in matters relating to other consumer protections (e.g., economic adulteration and misbranding).
• Have contact with plant managers, owners and others to explain legal and regulatory requirements, discuss operation of the plant's SSOP, HACCP plan and other food safety programs.
• Communicate and defend determinations on non-compliance issues and discuss plans for addressing non-compliance.
• Work with a variety of individuals to resolve problems, clarify differences of interpretation concerning HACCP and other food safety or consumer protection requirements.
• Advise other Agency inspectors, supervisors and officers on inspection and enforcement matters for which you are involved.
• Conduct various samplings, surveys and tests to obtain pertinent data on potential problem areas, industry trends, or other issues of current interest to the Agency.
• Be involved in performing health and safety verification sampling and tests for detection of specific microbes (e.g., salmonella, listeria, etc.), residues or contaminants.
• Assure that products approved for import are in full compliance with all applicable Federal regulations governing the importation of meat and poultry products.
• Authorize entry of all meat or poultry products considered to comply with Federal regulations or refuse entry of any products which violate any of the requirements for admission into this country.
• Coordinate with other Federal agencies (e.g., the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on such matters as animal health restrictions and refused entry lots.

The incumbent serves as an Advanced Medical Support Assistant assigned to a Veterans Affairs Community Care (VACC).

Major Duties:

• Determine eligibility for care and enroll if needed.
• Create referrals/authorizations for episodes of care prior to care being received, and applying an appropriate cost for obligation management if appropriate, confirming authorized services and validity dates.
• Work with VACC contractors, vendors/agencies to ensure timely appropriate care is provided for Veterans.
• Schedule appointments per the scheduling policy accurately and in a timely manner. All appointments will be made with the patient's input. This may require a high level of coordination to avoid patients having to make multiple calls to the medical center or provider whenever possible.
• Daily review of active/pending/scheduled consults for accuracy and disposition.
• Follow-up for medical documentation once appointments have occurred.
• Ensure medical documentation is scanned to chart for timely consult closure and ongoing care needs are met.
• Manage communication, to include but not limited to the phone lines/voicemails/inbound faxes in a timely and appropriate manner.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) performing such duties as
removing, installing, adjusting, aligning, inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing final functional and
operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components such as airframe, landing
gear, power plant, gear boxes, pumps, and hydraulic, pressurization, utility, fuel, oil, pneumatic, and flight control
systems and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

DUTY 1: Performs inspection and troubleshooting on a variety of aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders/commercial manuals (C40 only) and specifications.
DUTY 2: Positions, maintains, disassembles, repairs, and reassembles aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders and specifications.

Veterans on the unit have a diagnosis of a progressive major neurocognitive disorder, display an ongoing pattern of distressed behaviors due to progressive major neurocognitive behavior, meet CLC admission criteria including sufficient behavioral stabilization, and are able to participate in and benefit from treatment planning and programming designed to impact distressing behaviors that are offered within the BRU.

The BRU registered nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care based on age-specific components. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient transition through the continuum of care, patient and family education, patient self-management after discharge, and supporting factors that impact customer satisfaction. Considers all characteristics of the individual, including age and life stages, state of health, race and culture, values, and previous experiences. A SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, GS-2005-6, (1) Incumbent is responsible to provide technical assistance to subordinate elements, the headquarters logistics section, and other staff sections concerning logistics and maintenance management. Assists in providing proficiency training for logistical personnel within the command. Reviews current and future equipment authorization documents and provides recommendations for modification. Performs random reviews of subordinate organization expendable/durable requisitions. Assists in monitoring funds availability in accordance with regulations and the commander's priorities. Verifies property listings to ensure non-expendable quantities are commensurate with authorized levels of current or future authorization documents. Reviews current due-in status of back orders and identifies issues or problems. Performs audits of shortage/overage annexes to ensure all non-expendable/ expendable/durable items are on hand, on valid requisitions, or turn-in actions have been initiated. Executes supply and maintenance discipline inspections and other like evaluations of subordinate logistical operations. Performs assistance visits in the areas of supply and maintenance. Ensures regulatory compliance concerning the proper storage and security of organizational equipment. Audits personal clothing records at subordinate elements. Examines organizational clothing and individual equipment (OCIE) reports to ensure the completion of supply actions of subordinate organizations.

Reviews annual training (AT) and inactive duty training (IDT) food service records and provides guidance to logistical and food service personnel.
(4) Prepares requests and coordinates receipt of bulk and package petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL). Coordinates and completes turn-in actions for POL. Prepares or assists in the preparation of ammunition requests. Coordinates and assists in the receipt, issue, and turn-in of ammunition and residue.
