Roles Summary / Purpose

• Working with the Finance Department on the invoicing of financial penalties and fees

Contribute towards accurate and timely administration of qualification processes and other required support for the BWF Major Championships, such as the Thomas & Uber Cup Finals, BWF World Championships, BWF World Senior Championships, BWF World Junior Championships and HSBC BWF World Tour Finals.

• Analysis Projects, including World Ranking, and other Tournament Statistics

Overall Responsibilities

• Handle a full set of accounts independently, accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner
• Preparation of Monthly Management Reports for Head of Department review.
• Liase with external auditors, tax auditor, company secretary during audit process, budgeting, and forecasting
• To prepare tax computation and ensure the appropriate provision, estimation, and tax submission
• To ensure compliance with internal procedures and, statutory requirements
• To develop a strong internal control environment within the organization and improve various processes to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Department or Management.

Qualifications, skills and requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualifications.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field and have experience in preparing full set of accounts.
• Able to converse and write confidently in English. Other spoken languages such as Mandarin and Bahasa is an advantage.
• Must have related working experience in full set computerized accounts and financial matters.
• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel and Autocount or similar Accounting System.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people of all levels, and be a team player.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to prioritize and organize.

• Bank reconciliation, employees claim & petty cash.
• Assist in general office admin and operations

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM/Professional Certificate/Diploma majoring in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

• High proficient in SQL, Autocount, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint,

Job Responsibilities:

• • To lead the team on any assignment or task assigned.
  • To carry out site measurement, site valuation and follow up on site progress claim.
  • To assist in site coordination and site overall delivery.
  • To request quotation from sub-contractors and suppliers, analyze and prepare tendered evaluation report.
