The Facilities Manager is a key role accountable for the management of total facilities services across our two hospices and our retail sites. They will be accountable for the fabric of the hospice buildings and tangible assets, including short, medium and long term planned preventative maintenance, contract and contractor management, security and energy sustainability. They will be the nominated competent person ensuring health and safety legislative and policy compliance. A key focus of the position is to deliver safety excellence, drive operational efficiencies and provide management information to the Executive Management Team. The Facilities Manager leads the development of a high-performing team of technical employees, who can provide exceptional levels of customer service across all of the Charity work locations. This includes embedding a culture of efficiency and collaboration that aligns to the Charitys values. Facilities Develop and implement a programme of planned maintenance for all of the Charity locations, including retail stores, to ensure that the premises and the equipment within are fit for purpose, maintained in a serviceable condition, meet relevant safety standards and are in good working order. Develop a charity wide asset register to demonstrate condition, life cycles and service intervals to be used to drive facilities budgeting and forecasting. Develop and utilise the facilities system to be a leading tool demonstrating the completion of maintenance tasks for premises and equipment as well as remedial actions, compliance recording and auditing Coordinate and control all building works and refurbishments, planning for minimum disturbance to the patients, visitors, customers and employees. Ensure the Maintenance team carrying out routine monitoring and repairs on all buildings and facilities and engage external contractors where necessary. Is responsible for ensuring all regular tests and checks are completed as required and recorded accurately. This includes fire alarm and evacuation procedures. Assess maintenance works completed by contractors and confirm, on behalf of the Charity, the completion of such works and authorise payment of invoices. Engage contractors to perform work that cannot be completed safely, effectively or in its entirety by the Maintenance team. Undertake a comprehensive quote process, to ensure the most cost effective and high-quality solution is achieved and manage the completion of works to be completed within schedule and budget. Manage expenditure against budgets and report to the Finance Director and/or Head of Finance monthly to ensure actual expenditure within budget. Ensure effective financial management processes are implemented and adhered to within the Maintenance team. Contribute to the development of the annual budget, providing expert insight to maintenance and asset management requirements. Provide on-call cover for out-of-hours (i.e. night, weekend and bank-holiday) maintenance call outs to the Hospices, which may include attending the site to check reported items, undertake remedial action if possible and contacting relevant contractors if required. Ensure the activities of the maintenance team comply with all aspects of H&S legislation and policy and champion H&S awareness across all Charity work locations. Ensure all of the Charity locations and grounds are maintained to safe standards and are representative of the brand. Work closely with the urgent care team and duty doctors to facilitate this care. Management of GMS care for this case list, circa one thousand patients. Day to day operational responsibility for the Home Team. Provision and management of a responsive visiting service. Liaison with wider primary care MDT and community services, including OOH services to ensure high quality and timely care in the home. Lead daily community huddle. Job Description:
This role is the main user-facing role in CTSC and will provide an accessible and inclusive service to users, providing clear signposting and guidance to all users, coaching them in the use of the online platform and providing information to resolve their queries and processing/updating high-volume case details accurately and efficiently. They will deal with the immediate, short-term needs of service users. Duties will include but not be limited to

• Provide professional friendly support and guidance to users of online services via a variety of channels (telephone, webchat, email), in line with quality standards, to ensure the delivery of a high quality user-focused service on a daily basis and deliver a service focused on quality as well as timeliness
• Triage users to relevant services, using HMCTS prescribed service scripts and knowledge base on a daily basis, to ensure users get the right information they need at the right time, so that everyone understands what is needed and what will happen
• Jurisdiction-related administration using HMCTS predefined protocols and processes to process non-automated work
• Undertake case-readiness assessment and progress the case to the next phase, and providing information to allow users to understand what the next stage is and what they can expect next
• Identify users requiring extra/different support and undertaking basic assessment of users' Assisted Digital needs, in accordance with procedure and referring suitable cases to a third party supplier on a daily basis, to ensure users understand and can participate in the new digital process
• To handle, and where possible resolve, first contact user complaints in accordance with predefined HMCTS policy and procedures so that users feel they have been listened to and that their complaint has been handled fairly. Update the CRM system so details do not have to be repeated to a different CTSC Support Officer
• Read relevant Knowledge articles to maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of processes and systems, to be able to provide users with the right information, when they need it with no delay or confusion
• Proactively engage with HMCTS workforce planning / shift allocation tools to ensure business requirements are being met
• Work as part of the team in considering continuous improvements necessary for effective delivery and feeding these into the wider CI channels

Requirements:

• Able to follow well established processes and detailed instructions.
• Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Role

• To be part of the clients property Maintenance team responsible for Joinery and Multi Skilled Maintenance projects or services undertaken
• To carry out domestic Maintenance duties to a high standard and within reasonable time frames.
• Pre-inspect and diagnose selected repair requirements.

• NVQ Level 2 or above in a relevant trade such as Joinery/Plastering/Plumbing

The MPGS provides professional soldiers to meet armed security requirements at Royal Navy, Army, RAF and other MOD bases across the UK Mainland. Our primary role is to counter the terrorist threat posed to military bases within the UK

Our duties include:

Security incident management - Such as suspicious packages, bomb threats, protests, etc.

Patrolling site perimeters - Taking necessary action to preserve perimeter security.

Controlling entry and exit - Managing control room and gate operations and ensuring all visitors are dealt with efficiently.

Military Working Dog services (at selected sites).

Our units are located at over 119 sites across the UK mainland. We have our own Military Local Service Contract which allows soldiers to choose where they wish to serve, providing there is a vacancy.

Requirements:

• Background - You must have at least 3 years prior Military Service, or be currently serving, in any arm of the British Military, regular or reserves.

• Age - You must be over 18 years and under 57 years of age at re-enlistment.
• Fitness Eligibility - You must be medically fit and have a Body Mass Index below 32.
• Driving Licence - You must have a full UK driving licence with less than 8 penalty points.

Previously Served Personnel:

• Gap Since Leaving Service - Former substantive Cpl/LH (or equivalent) and above ranks with no more than a 10 year gap of service, and for former non substantive Cpl/LH and below ranks who have a gap of service of no more than 6 years.
• However, any former personnel with a time gap of up to 10 years can apply for this role, to which a time out waiver may be granted, subject to approval and interview processes.
• Previous Service Check - Your previous service records will be checked and final authorisation to proceed with the application must be given by the Army Personnel Centre.
