About the role

As a Technician, you will:

We are currently looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team. You would play a significant role in helping us to achieve our vision, being a key player in moving our business forward, with your natural ability to engage, inspire and offer advice to our customers to ensure they choose the bed that suits them best!

Your role as a Sales Consultant will involve:

• Using your natural ability to build rapport with our customers to advise them on Sleep wellness ™.
• Using our unique sleepPRO™ technology to ensure they choose the right mattress for them, giving them a perfect night’s sleep every night.
• Taking customers through the sales process and completing the required order paperwork and credit agreements (full training provided).

Working closely with your store colleagues to ensure we offer every customer an outstanding in-store experience, we will give you extensive product training, and ongoing coaching and support throughout your time with us, giving you every opportunity to succeed, progress and build your perfect career!

It should be noted that due to the nature of our products, the role will involve you and your colleagues moving product around in store and some cleaning tasks will be necessary to ensure the store and our products are in the best possible condition for our customers.

Our busiest times tend to be when our customers are free to come in and visit the store, which includes evenings, weekends and bank holiday weekends. We are looking for Sales Consultants with pride, passion and a positive ‘can do’ attitude, devoted to delivering impeccable customer service with professionalism, ensuring our customers have an outstanding store experience. Driven to achieve your sales targets. You will enjoy engaging with customers and can adapt your approach as appropriate to build rapport and establish their needs.

Ideally you will have worked in a customer facing role previously and have confident communication skills, being able to spot sales opportunities and be resilient and resourceful when you need to be, daring to try new things to help your store succeed.

About the role:

This role is home-based and is open to applicants living in Cornwall. Regular travel will be required both to our office in Plymouth & throughout Cornwall, with occasional travel to Devon. Usual working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, however you will need to provide cover 1 day per week working 10:15am to 6:15pm on a rota basis & there may be an occasional need to work outside core hours to meet the demands of the role.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support, which will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users
• Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer and options for victims and survivors
• Use a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential records and contribute to monitoring information including the collection of outcomes
• Working as part of a team with staff and the volunteer team to provide a seamless service to clients

You will need:

• Understanding of the impact of crime on victims such as domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime and anti-social behaviour
• Experience of successfully delivering services and working directly within a statutory, voluntary or multi agency setting(s)
• Ability to balance competing needs and priorities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Personal resilience to manage exposure to highly emotional or sensitive demands of the role
• Ability to manage a caseload including complex case management
• Ability to use generic IT applications competently.
• A driving license and access to a vehicle as this is considered an essential requirement as this role involves regular travel
