Within the FCP service the post holder Will work as an autonomous practitioner and perform frontline patient screening who have self-referred to the GP practice, and to manage undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions which may not be musculoskeletal in origin. Will have knowledge across several different clinical fields in order to triage referrals appropriately. Knowledge and interpretation of general health, organisational and occupational policies together with expert clinical analysis is required for the post holder to assume ultimate responsibility for these decisions. Will act independently to assess, analyse and provide a clinical diagnosis for individual patients, using high level complex decision level making to inform the diagnosis, treatment and management and onward referral within scope of practice of a wide range of patients with musculoskeletal conditions from routine to highly complex. A key element of the role will be to be able to quickly identify red flag conditions and/or other underlying serious pathology requiring potential emergency care and take the appropriate action to determine which clinical pathway will be most suitable for the patient. Will be required to refer for diagnostics, to analyse the results and take appropriate action by referring to other team and services e.g. in primary and secondary care. The Integrated Therapy Partnership, Primary care, Secondary care, CN&T Will act as a source of expertise in the management of musculoskeletal problems and provide training and support to GPs, physiotherapists, other healthcare professionals in the development of the FCP service. Will be expected to work and liaise closely with GPs, practice managers, PCN stakeholders and external agencies to enable and ensure quality service provision for their patient caseload and/or client group. An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a part of the cancer team within the Gynaecology department as a Patient Pathway Co-Ordinator. This post is pivotal to ensure timely patient pathway progression for both before and after cancer diagnosis. We use the Somerset Cancer Register information system to collect real-time data throughout the patient’s referral, diagnostic and treatment pathways. The data aids the clinical management of the patients and informs progress against the national Cancer Waiting Times standards.

The main objectives of the role are:
• Working with members of the clinical and admin teams to track patients through their cancer pathway.
• Pro-actively monitor individual cancer patients to ensure that they progress through the pathway within the standard timelines and to prevent breaches of national Cancer Waiting Times standards.
• Collect and validate clinical data for mandatory cancer datasets.
• Provide appropriate cover support across the team during periods of annual leave and absence.

You will also be required to offer support to our RTT validator.

The Norfolk and Norwich University NHS Foundation Trust is on a digital journey. Since 2018 we have been systematically developing our digital infrastructure, teams and strategic project portfolio to drive us and our system towards an enhanced digital future. We understand that everything we do in information management and technology is critical to underpinning our trust vision, to provide the best care for every patient.

Our digital strategy sets this out clearly and the next step is for us to move from paper to a core electronic patient record. This project is underway and is scheduled to go live in 2026. Our project will see us deliver a single instance of an electronic patient record across our acute hospital collaborative, meaning there will be one acute patient record for all the hospitals in Norfolk.

We know that to achieve success we need great leadership, and we have an opportunity for the right candidate to lead our digital team at the NNUH on this journey. Gas Safe Register are currently recruiting for a safety focused, gas qualified individual to join our field services team in Norfolk.

As a Gas Inspector, you'll be responsible for inspecting, reporting and feeding back on the gas safety standards delivered by registered businesses in Norfolk.

You will be allocated a portfolio of registered businesses and provided a structure to ensure inspections and reports are completed in line with service level agreements. What you'll be doing:

• Carry out and complete inspections in line with our risk model and contractual obligations with our client the HSE.
• Complete inspections against the Gas Industry Statutory and Normative documents and internal operating procedures.
• Liaise with registered businesses to ensure any defects identified are understood and completed to standard and within timescale.
• Ensure inspection reports are completed within a Service Level Agreement and to the standard required.
• Ensure the appropriate course of action is taken when unsafe or illegal gas work is identified.
• Liaise with and effectively communicate with registered businesses and gas consumers

What we're looking for:

• Must hold as a minimum the following ACS certificates of competence: CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1. Ideally the applicant will have additional ACS certificates in LPG, Non-Domestic & Catering, LAU1 and DAH1.
• Experienced of having worked on a variety of gas appliances and/or quality controlling of gas work.
• Understanding of Health & Safety, Building Regulations, other related codes and normative documents, including ability to risk assess environments.
• Relevant Auditor qualification (D32/A1) or equivalent would be a desirable addition.
• Regularly maintain technical knowledge and industry awareness through CPD.
• Appreciation of issues affecting gas, plumbing, electrical and H&V installation businesses.
• Ability to use tools and undertake any appropriate tests and checks during inspection.
