About the role This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join our vibrant and growing plumbing curriculum area. We have seen continued growth, especially in apprentices and this growth is forecast to continue.
This is an exciting time to join the College, especially with the future growth in renewables and the Net Zero target. The role will involve providing excellent teaching and learning to full time students and apprentices. The qualifications delivered include Level 2 Diplomas, and the Level 3 Standard for apprentices including the NVQ. The role also provides an opportunity to develop strategies in preparation for the T Level, which we plan to deliver from September 24. Tracking and monitoring of students while providing a safe working environment are also key to the role.
About the personYou will have strong industry skills and a wealth of experience of plumbing practices and be qualified up to Level 3 including gas. You should be self-motivated, work well in a team and have a passion for working with young people in a supportive and instructive manner. You will have a flexible approach and be able to work as part of a team to deliver high quality teaching and learning.
