As a Mental Health Practitioner you will be providing specialist mental healthcare to offenders and working as part of the Mental Health In-Reach Team, plus wider mental health services. Our Mental Health Team provide specialist interventions at primary and secondary care level including; referral management, screening assessment, triage, evidence-based interventions, care planning and risk assessing, plus one-to-one and group-work facilitation.

Our Mental Health Practitioners manage a mixed and challenging caseload and are required to perform robust assessment, screening and interventions to offenders with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. You will contribute to alternatives to inpatient admission and assisting with early discharge through the implementation of high intensity interventions and complex case management arrangements.

One of our key aims is to ensure continuity of care for an offender on ordinary location and reduce the length of stay, both in relation to prison inpatient services and external NHS/independent in-patient services. Copart Drivers must comply with legal and company requirements of a professional driver and operate the vehicle and loading equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all H&S policies and procedures.

No transporter experience? No problem - we'll provide you with everything you need! You'll be supported through 3 weeks of the very best job related 1-2-1 training and benefit from our bespoke designed annual CPC training. If you have a Cat C licence, we are able to up-skill to C+E after successful completion of your probationary period.

What we need from you:

• HGV Licence Class 1 or Class 2
• Current CPC
• A good understanding of the EC Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations
• Driving experience in both rural and urban environments
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications
• Adaptable, with the ability to organise and adjust your working day
• Car transportation or recovery experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential

Starting salary of £23,290 (£11.75 per hour) increasing to £25,679 (£12.95 per hour), on completion of 6 month probation period. Plus, an additional supplement of £824 per annum pro rota, nightshift allowance and excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week).
