This position involves a multi-grade career ladder. The major duties listed below represent the full performance level of GS-6. At the GS-5 grade level, you will perform assignments of a more limited scope and with less independence. You will progressively acquire the background necessary to perform at the full performance level of GS-6. Major duties and responsibilities include:

• Validating claims for billing purposes ensuring eligibility and referring questionable coding for review.
• Submitting claims to third party health insurance carriers, with knowledge of Medicare coverage benefits.

- Serves as a working leader. Leads four or more civilian, military journeyman, and trainee aircraft freight loaders in the performance of aircraft freight loading and ground support duties on all types of military, commercial, and contract aircraft.

• Leads a manpower management engineering team, as a project manager, to conduct manpower requirement determinant and process improvement projects/studies utilizing approved management engineering and process improvement practices. Lead/supports efforts on selected projects to develop agency and Air Force positions and plans.
• Project leader/manager responsible to manage, direct, coordinate, oversee, and report complex projects; defines scope, priority, and staff; provides technical direction in project management, team building, facilitation, process improvement analysis, and methodology/tool required to develop, substantiate, and defend result.
• Conducts management consultant studies of Air Force-wide organizations with interrelated work processes and functions and accurately advises on proposed solutions to improve processes, realign functions, maximize resource utilization, and resolve substantive issues of wide scope.

• Inspects products to determine the quality, condition, and/or compliance with U.S. Grade Standards or stated contract specifications.

Store Credit Program, and performance plan (financial plan) program. Duties are performed independently, under minimal supervision.

Collects and analyzes data/information; conducts research; applies policies and procedures; identifies problems; and works with higher level and lower level professionals in day-to-day operations. Uses appropriate automated budget tools such as REGIS and DELPHI to allocate, track, reconcile and report the status of funds. 2. Participates in special studies and projects related to branch engineering process, programs, and programs. Advises managers in strategic planning,and determines immediate and long-range program/training and technology needs.
3. Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for the 402 CMXG Group's commercial contracts for information technology asset management and deployment to ensure operations are in line with regulatory requirements, support goals, and mission requirements
4. Analyzes and evaluates various maintenance processes and procedures and provides recommendations to resolve substantive issues of effectiveness and productivity of work operations in the Directorate.
5. Prepares and delivers written and oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions and consultations with other service functions and activities.
