We are running our 16th cohort of Trainee Nursing Associate Apprentices, working in partnership The University of Cumbria.

This post is an apprenticeship post commencing on the March 2025 cohort, which will see you develop to a NMC registered Nursing Associate, completing a 2 year foundation degree training programme. The course is fully funded.

Internal candidates,will be on a 2 year Trust Secondment contract
External Candidateswill be a 2 year fixed term contract.

This post is specifically for the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), Duddon House, Fairfield Lane, Barrow in Furness, LA13 9AZ

As a trainee you will be based within clinical practice for the duration of the programme and will have study leave to attend University. You will rotate through different services within your speciality / service area (where applicable) and undertake block placements outside of your normal place of work, to gain a breadth of experience and skills.

Some travel is required so you must either be a car driver or be prepared to access public transport when on placement. You could be expected to travel up to 90 minutes each way to placement and work shifts and weekends.

You will need to demonstrate an understanding of healthcare and the role of a Nursing Associate and show evidence of being an effective communicator with the people you care for, their families and carers, as well as your colleagues and superiors.

You will need to be prepared to work hard and undertake study in your own time, while on the programme; learning the fundamentals of exceptional care and developing your depth of knowledge around important aspects of both physical and mental health. In addition you will be taught many clinical skills which will be required when you become a registered Nursing Associate.

Interviews will hold week of the 9th December 2024, date to be confirmed.

Junior Assistant Manager Key Responsibilities:

• To facilitate the guest journey and implement the highest quality of guest service standards to ensure 4 red star seamless service
• Support and develop the service teams
• Increase the sales by creating an effective strategy in all areas of Food & Beverage including developing staff incentives, increase covers and maximise seating availability
• Health & Safety Representative
• Ensure all equipment is in working order and liaise with the maintenance department to ensure any issues are dealt with promptly.

Hospitality & Service

• Provide the highest quality of guest service standard with the aim of exceeding expectations at all times, both operationally and administratively
• Be an exceptional and professional ambassador, establishing excellence at all times.
• Perform Duty Management shifts as required ensuring that you are accessible and show a presence throughout the hotel while interacting with guests, members, staff and suppliers.
• To ensure that effective Guest Service Standard of Performance (GSSOP) manuals are kept up to date for each department and the teams regularly run through these standards to constantly improve their performance and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure superlative levels of cleanliness in all areas outlets and associated areas under control of the Manager to a four red star standard through effective daily, weekly and monthly schedules.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquires requests, complaints and compliments.

Our client are seeking LATE SHIFT PACKING OPERATIVES to join them on a temporary on-going basis. For the right candidates this could lead to a permanent position at the client’s discretion. This is a working farm located in the village of Litton Cheney, Dorchester hence needing own transport to get to site.

• Operating and monitoring production equipment safely
• Bagging and sealing cheese and checking for foreign body contaminants.
• Undertaking manual handling tasks including hand stacking product/packing into boxes and onto pallets.

Working Hours:
