Job Purpose The Call Referral Handlers within the First Response Service help to underpin all of our clinical activity, meaning this dedicated and enthusiastic 24/7 workforce is vital to the delivery ofa high standard of care. As the post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the service, there will be an expectation for them to be highly motivated, flexible and multi-skilled with excellent organisational expertise. The post holder will have a high standard of skills using Microsoft Office packages and experience of using bespoke IT systems. The post holder will be required to answer telephone calls from Health Care Professionals, other specialised services, patients, care givers and others; taking mental health crisis referral information and accurately entering the data within electronic systems. The post holder will also at times be expected to share information with other professional disciplines such as the police in line with Data Protection Regulations. The post holder, with support from senior clinical staff will at times need to divert some calls directly to a clinician, waiting with them until there is clinical availability. The post holder will furthermore respond to telephone queries, requiring them to update electronic patient records, communicate with colleagues and redirect calls when required. The post holder will also need to meet deadlines, collate data and maintain standards relating toadministrative processes. They will need to be able to work within a team effectively and share work streams where appropriate. Contribute to, and lead where applicable, the design and implementation of effective workforce planning and development Facilitate, co-ordinate and monitor all operational aspects of the activities carried out by RRT. Ensure that the team assurance framework is regularly reviewed There is a requirement to support learners on a regular basis which includes the achievement and updating of profession specific training to the required standard to fulfil this role.

Job summary: The Health Care Assistant will work as part of the clinical team carrying out a range of duties ensuring that the highest standard of care is afforded to patients at all times. Duties and responsibilities: Undertake routine tasks related to patient care ensuring clinical protocols are followed, referring to GPs when necessary. Routine tasks will include: dressings, removal of sutures, blood pressure monitoring, phlebotomy and ECGs. Monitor the temperature of the treatment room fridge, ensuring the protocol is followed. Attend and participate in any Practice meetings when required. Ensure that anomalies are reported to a senior member of staff. Notify the GP/Nurse of any significant patient issues. Liaise with and assist members of the administration team. Undertake monthly rooms checks and checks of emergency trolley and GP bags.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Carry out both preventative and planned maintenance, both electrically & mechanically
• Working on high-speed production, packaging and automated machinery
• Dealing with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, sensors, electrical isolation, inverters, pneumatics, servo drives, control panels, pumps, compressors, steam & boiler systems
• PLC - electrical fault finding on Siemens & Allen Bradley
• SCADA Systems - electrical fault finding
• Continuous improvement projects and new machinery installations and modification work
• Prioritise workload to maximise efficiency of production lines, whilst monitoring data
• Be able to work mechanically on various pipework, fabrication & fault finding

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Must be a multi-skilled engineer, electrically biased
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical is a minimum requirement
• Must have worked in high-speed production - food, FMCG manufacturing environments
• Completed a time-served apprenticeship
• Minimum 5 years' experience as an engineer in manufacturing
• Beneficial to have City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Test & Inspection
• PLC & SCADA Systems - electrical fault finding
• Beneficial to have 17th or 18th Edition Electrical
• Strong team player with a continuous improvement approach
• A good level of mechanical skills - dealing with pipework, gearboxes, drives, pumps, etc
• Able to follow P&ID, electrical & mechanical drawings
• Have the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a pressurised environment effectively
• Comfortable and confident with sometimes working on your own initiative on shift
• Strong communication skills
• Must have access to own transportation due to location of the factory

We are operational 24/6 and you’ll cover various early and late shifts, 35hrs pw. Flexibility is key as due to the nature of role there are a range of different working arrangements & additional hours. There will be days when your finishing time could be unpredictable, however, we operate a rota basis (provided 12 weeks in advance) that allows you the flexibility to enjoy meaningful time off to do the things you enjoy & love.

About the Role:
As a PCO at our court, you’ll work as part of a team to provide safe and secure escorting and custody services to detainees, focusing on maintaining their physical and mental wellbeing. During court proceedings, you’ll be responsible for every aspect of detainee management until it’s time for them to return to custody or be released. Key duties include:

- Escorting defendants to and from courtrooms, cells, and other areas within the court, including accompanying them to the toilet to ensure security and safety. This may involve being handcuffed to the detainee.
- Monitoring and supervising detainees while they are in the docks during court sessions, ensuring they remain secure and do not pose a risk to themselves or others.
- Being privy to sensitive and confidential information discussed during court proceedings, including testimonies, legal arguments etc. Maintaining discretion and confidentiality is paramount. Being prepared to listen to harrowing and distressing testimonies and evidence. It is crucial to maintain professionalism and provide support to detainees while managing your own emotional wellbeing.
- Ensuring that detainees have access to food and drink throughout the day, catering to any dietary requirements or restrictions.
- Monitoring the mental and physical health of detainees, providing support and reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensuring the safety and security of the court environment, including responding to any incidents or emergencies that may arise. Conducting thorough searches of property and individuals to prevent contraband from entering secure areas.
- Completing necessary paperwork and data entry accurately, including logging detainee movements, incidents, and any other relevant information.
- Working closely with other court staff, law enforcement, and legal professionals to ensure smooth and secure court operations

Our current PCO’s come to us with different work & life experiences, what you’ve done before doesn’t matter, what matters is that you’re committed to making a difference to the lives of others – the rest you will learn during your 5 1/2-weeks training course and through our experienced colleagues.

Ideally, you’ll have a current valid driver's license, be reasonably fit and have good written and verbal communications skills, using those skills to manage and control all situations. This role requires a high level of responsibility, vigilance, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and care. You will be an integral part of the judicial process, ensuring that justice is administered safely and securely.
