About this opportunity
We have an exciting secondment opportunity for a developer to join the Planning Analytics team in Group Finance Support & Finance Data & Analytics Office. This is an outstanding opportunity to support the agenda for financial modelling and reporting for a wide breadth of finance colleagues and business areas.
The remit of the team offers a wide variety of opportunities for the right person. At our core we are responsible for the development and maintenance of financial planning models and reporting using the full IBM Planning Analytics suite.
You'll be designing and delivering financial models which will inform executive decision-making across all of finance. The valuable information and insight that you generate will drive quality strategic discussions and ensure the right business decisions are made at the right time.
We focus primarily on the development and maintenance of a range of IBM Planning Analytics based Finance models and you'll play a key role in the design and development of those robust models, in line with business need and regulatory requirements. Quality control will be vital - so you'll need an eye for detail and an aptitude for identifying and managing model risk.

Key responsibilities:

Work closely with customers to find new ways to improve the efficiency and impact of our modelling capability.

Deliver model related enhancements, with a clear business and customer focus.

Positively influence others by demonstrating core Lloyds Banking Group values and behaviours

Manage and minimise operational risks as part of the day-to-day development of robust technical solutions

Establish and build relationships with stakeholders to support the provision of quality and timely information, solutions and analysis to inform business decisions

Effectively work within and maintain internal networks for the purpose of optimising business results

Support agreed change projects to deliver continuous improvement of multiple product areas within Retail or Consumer Finance.

What you'll need

A proven track record of delivery in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

Product level planning and forecasting knowledge

Data and analytics background
-
Understanding the financial of the bank, e.g. P&L, Flows, Stock, Margins etc

Mathematical and statistical expertise

Financial acumen, modelling and predictive, prescriptive and descriptive analytical experience and track record

Ability to work quickly with a high level of detail and accuracy

Ability to apply a highly analytical approach to problem solving, demonstrating creativity, drive, innovation, and initiative.
