(1) Establishes plans and schedules for maintenance and repair, using multiple process production methods and procedures for a variety of vehicles and equipment such as combat vehicles, heavy-duty engineering and mobile equipment, tracked vehicles, towed and self-propelled artillery, communications and electronic equipment, guided missile systems, and small arms. Implements maintenance plans and monitors progress of accomplishments. Using readiness, production and management reports available from the current automation support program and/or manual system, provides status of equipment, maintenance actions in progress, and location of equipment as required or requested. Responsible for data input of work order information, status changes, supply updates, and other pertinent information. Makes on-the-spot adjustments to repair priorities necessitated by unscheduled maintenance requirements.

(2) Ensures Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTO&E) or Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) reportable Line Item Numbers (LIN) are properly managed, reported and accounted for with respect to readiness reports, property accountability reports, and system management. Based on guidance received, prioritizes resources to ensure the highest level of readiness in support of training and mobilization requirements of supported units. Ensures that Army Materiel Status System (AMSS) equipment readiness reports are correct and submitted in a timely manner to meet Department of the Army (DA) reporting suspense.

(3) Programs workload, shop space, and available personnel on a short and long-term basis. Conducts initial and long range planning on matters which include multiple process production, maintenance operations, equipment readiness, including mechanical skills, availability of test and diagnostic equipment, repair parts, annual training requirements, mobilization requirements; and other factors influencing the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment and readiness reporting.

(4) Ensures that unit Class 9 (CL IX) accounts are funded, budgeted, and executed to maximize readiness. Performs demand analysis on unit CL IX expenses to determine proper stockage to sustain unit mission requirements.

(5) Designates and maintains current maintenance priorities by Force Activity Designator, pacing items, Equipment Readiness Codes (ERC) A, B, and C equipment type, available funds, commander's priority, state/national priorities (in the case of floods, fires, and mobilizations), and unit supported. Using the current automation support system, authorizes the acceptance of equipment for repair; monitors work priorities, current status, and completion of work orders; requisitions and provides status of repair parts; and assures the effective utilization of maintenance personnel. Provides both standard and ad hoc reports on the status of work orders to the supervisor and/or units. Assists supervisory personnel regarding readiness, CL IX funding, production problems and work planning. Assists in the resolution of problems encountered between scheduled or unscheduled production or priority requirements.

(6) Analyzes repair methods and develops control procedures and policies to assure accomplishment of programs to meet priorities and deadlines established by higher authority or support activities. Ensures that this is performed in the most effective and efficient manner possible with good quality control and quality assurance procedures in place. Coordinates with units and other support activities concerning the delivery, status of repair operations, and/or pick up of completed work orders. Coordinates with logistical personnel, equipment specialists, higher ranked management officials, item managers at depots concerning critical shortages of repair parts required to support the maintenance repair program.

(7) Provides technical guidance and oversight to a lower-graded Production Controller. May provide guidance and oversight of mechanics, Tools and Parts Attendants, or other positions assisting in the maintenance production or maintenance management processes. Ensures necessary maintenance workers are available and that required reports are submitted to units and higher headquarters in a timely manner.

(8) This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration. This designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.

(1) Directs, monitors or performs overall maintenance, servicing, inspections and documentation for one or more aircraft. Work is performed in complex working conditions under time and/or mission constraints to include all weather and night operations. Works with, coordinates and oversees the work of subordinate aircraft mechanics. Coordinates and oversees the work of journey level workers in other trades working simultaneously on the assigned aircraft. Reviews, trains and prepares to perform battle damage assessment/repair. Participates in mission generation/regeneration operations. Directs multiple specialists in preparing aircraft for combat operations. Expedites aircraft operations to include concurrent servicing, hot pit refueling and/or combat turns or integrated combat turns. Serves as the technical authority to advise on, inspect and approve all airframe, mechanical, electrical/environmental, avionics, engine and pneudraulic repairs on assigned aircraft. Works closely with the production control function to report current aircraft status, requests and coordinates specialist support for accomplishing maintenance exceeding sortie generation capabilities or time constraints. Controls and performs work assignments based upon priorities, workload, availability of parts, facilities, material and personnel. Assigns maintenance and repair functions to subordinate mechanics. Coordinates with production control to direct short notice availability of the aircraft to accomplish work on delayed discrepancies and other scheduled maintenance to meet mission requirements. Observes and inspects performance and work procedures to ensure compliance with applicable technical publications, directives and local policy. Accomplishes operational tests of aircraft systems and components. Directs and performs the ground movement of aircraft. Launches, recovers, parks and services aircraft. Performs end of runway inspection. Installs, removes, inspects and adjusts aerial delivery systems to mission requirements. Makes diagnoses and solves malfunctions of aircraft systems and components by utilizing a wide variety of complex state of the art computerized and/or non computerized diagnostic and precision equipment, by studying layout drawings, blueprints and wiring diagrams and by analyzing construction and operating characteristics of aircraft and their components. Performs or oversees maintenance such as troubleshooting, removing, repairing, replacing, rigging, aligning, cleaning, painting and corrosion control. May be required to assist DEPOT level maintenance activities on individual assigned aircraft discrepancies. Ensures all mission associated support (-21) equipment is available and serviceable for deployment and employment.

(2) Ensures aircraft documentation and Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) accurately reflect the airworthiness of the Aircraft. Provides technical guidance and assistance to flight crews regarding observed discrepancies and experienced in-flight characteristics and system malfunctions. Performs or assists in aircrew debriefing when required.

(3) Performs in-process and final inspection of aircraft and components undergoing repair, overhaul and/or modification to verify and certify by signature adherence to work techniques, procedures and quality standards established by applicable publications. Completed work is reviewed for adherence to maintenance policy independently to determine that the aircraft is prepared and safe for flight. Due to the nature of operations tempo, must make decisions on a wide range of matters that may involve changes to past precedents to ensure completion of the mission. Clears Red X symbols on aircraft forms, accomplishes or directs engine power runs, may taxi aircraft in accordance with applicable directives.

(4) Plans, develops and conducts training during the technician work week to a multi facet workforce comprised of from 3 to 8 assigned military positions. Training sessions are designed to provide instructions in techniques of repair and maintenance of aircraft and related equipment. Conducts and certifies Cross Utilization Training (CUT) of non WG-88XX series Aircraft Mechanics to meet mission requirements. Selects the appropriate instructional method, utilizing either formalized classroom or practical on-the-job method of instruction. Evaluates and certifies effectiveness of training by observation as the trainee performs the task(s). Determines experience and skill level of assigned personnel. Maintains Career Field Education and Training Plan (CFETP) for assigned members.

• Performs work involved in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of installed mechanical equipment and control systems utilized in the provision of basic utility services as required by the activity assigned to accomplish this mission.
• Installs, maintains, and modifies utility connections and processing equipment, as required. Uses specialized diagnostic and test instruments compatible with the various manufacturer's equipment.
• Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs and replaces mess hall equipment, refrigerated and display storage units, food service equipment, dishwasher and disposal units. Inspects, repairs, and replaces signs, traffic control devices and guardrails.
• Operates backhoes, front end loaders, dump trucks, graders and sanders to push, plow and remove snow and ice from roadways and parking lots.

The work consists of various duties, projects or assignments sometimes involving different and unrelated program analysis technical processes and procedures. Assignments or projects involve various types and sources of information, nonrecurring problems, trends and issues. The purpose of the work is to plan and carry out assignments, which affect and improve the efficiency and productivity of the organization's operations.

Some duties may include:

• Obtains relevant information regarding requests for repairs or replacement of equipment that is under warranty, covered by a service or commodity contract, and coordinates all the appropriate actions for service, maintenance or repair as needed.
• Performs the duties of Contracting Officers Representative (COR) for all TJC, EC, and LS service contracts, such as fire alarm testing & inspection ,etc.

As a Supervisory Facility Management Systems Program Coordinator, GS-1601-12 with the National Park Service (NPS), your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for hiring, training, oversight, and field coordination of multiple work teams of FMSS Network personnel.
• Performs the full range of supervisory responsibilities including but not limited to developing annual performance standards, conducting twice-yearly performance appraisals for direct reports, developing, and reviewing individual development plans (IDPs) with employees.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Screening and Assessment - The Social Worker may be required to assess and screen Veterans in the HUD/VASH program. The assessment is made by meeting with the Veteran, reviewing appropriate VA records, contacting appropriate VA and community providers, and collaborating with family members and supports as necessary.
Treatment Planning/Goal Setting - The Social Worker develops psychosocial treatment plans, actively involving the Veteran, family members, and/or significant others. This plan is developed in coordination with interdisciplinary team members, based on the psychosocial assessments, which include goals for clinical treatment.
Referrals to Service Providers - Throughout the course of the Veteran's participation in the HUD/VASH program, the Social Worker will provide appropriate information and referrals to VA and community resources for the Veteran and his/her family.
Resource Development - The Social Worker is responsible for developing and maintaining a catalog of VA and community resources. The worker will meet with individual agencies to introduce the HUD/VASH program, and to develop positive working relationships to facilitate the referral process.
Outreach - The Social Worker performs regular outreach activities to area shelters and other community agencies serving homeless Veterans. The Social Worker conducts field interviews, assessments and makes referrals for appropriate services and care.
Advocacy - Each homeless Veteran has a number of obstacles that get in the way of maintaining permanent housing. The Social Worker's role is to advocate on behalf of the Veteran and work to break existing barriers to treatment.
Crisis Intervention - The incumbent is well skilled in providing crisis intervention. This includes crisis related to substance abuse, behavioral issues, loss of housing, and any other crisis situation.
Education/Health Promotion and Prevention - The Social Worker provide education related to VA and community resources, entitlements, and Advance Directives/Living Wills. The Social Worker will also provide education to the Veteran's family and children.
Coordination of Non-Institutional and Institutional Services -The Social Worker is responsible for the coordination of VA and non-VA services and programs, including inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment, mental health, medical services, and in-home services.
Supportive Counseling- As part of the HUD/VASH program, each Veteran will receive supported counseling on an individual and group basis.
Administrative Responsibilities- The Social Worker is responsible for record keeping, data collection, monitoring of patient and program indicators, performance measurements and organization of program procedures.
Evaluation, Education, Supervision, Coaching and Mentoring- The Social Worker will continually monitor and assess the program for best practices and maximum efficiency.

The Assistant Section Chief is responsible for managing Provider schedules and leave. This person is responsible for Provider onboarding, education and training. He or She will resolve front line clinical care questions and/or concerns. The Assistant Chief will collaborate with the Service Line Manager to develop performance expectations for Physicians and complete annual proficiencies including Pay for Performance, FPPEs and OPPEs. Work closely with the Primary Care (PC) Service Chief to determine appropriate MCA labor mapping, panel size and PCMM FTE. This incumbent is required to work with other clinical services such as Specialty Care, Radiology, Mental Health, Laboratory, Urgent Care as well as GEC/CLC. Develop and supervise clinical education programs for PC Providers and Trainees. Participate in groups created for PC Leadership including VISN and National calls when the Service Chief is absent. He or She is required to travel to CBOCs on a regular basis as well as travel to conferences and meetings. This position will be 40% Administrative Duties and 60% Clinical Duties. This position may be required to cover intermittently, PACT teams and same day services as a gap and float Provider. Other duties as assigned.

• Serves as a Contract Administrator assigned to a team responsible for the administration of government contracts/grants/agreements for one or more contractors.
• Incumbent is assigned a group of contracts for which the employee performs the full range of contract functions, up to the point of signature to include contract/grants/agreements, contract administration and contract closeout.
• Reviews new contracts to ensure all necessary clauses have been included.
• Monitors contractor performance for compliance with applicable laws, delivery schedules, payment provisions, contract data reporting requirements, and other contractual requirements.

Starting at $81,963 Per Year (GS 11)

(1) Troubleshoots, performs maintenance and major repairs on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles. This may include self-propelled artillery, tracked cargo and personnel carriers, road graders, mobile cranes, front loaders, conveyors, bulldozers, power shovels, compressors, generators, tanks, tracked combat vehicles, sedans, buses, all terrain vehicles, trucks, semi trailers, forklifts, tractors, and accessory equipment. Troubleshoots, repairs and overhauls major systems to include internal combustion engines, turbine engines, automatic and non-automatic transmissions, heavy duty drive line systems, and hydraulic utility systems and controls. Makes repairs to assemblies and components such as voltage regulators, generators/alternators, brake cylinders, etc. Performs work in accordance with modification work orders, technical manuals, lubrication orders, maintenance bulletins, regulations or management policies. May repair a variety of more complex major systems to include engines, cross drive or similar multi-system transmissions and a variety of intricate fuel injection systems.

(2) Troubleshoots equipment and diagnoses the cause of mechanical failures by means of visual and auditory checks and/or uses test equipment such as engine analyzers, compression testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, pressure gauges, and computer diagnostic tools. Utilizes embedded diagnostics in equipment and a wide variety of original equipment manufacturer system analyzers in order to determine the exact nature or extent of repair. Determines what adjustments may be necessary to complete work orders, and whether any additional repairs other than those specified or indicated on the work order are necessary.

(3) Removes and disassembles engines and major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, and fuel, hydraulic, and oil pressure systems. Makes the appropriate repairs, overhaul, or modifications in accordance with the proper repair specifications and procedures. Reassembles engines and other systems, and adjusts, tests, and reinstalls in vehicles and equipment as necessary. Makes adjustments and repairs to electrical and suspension systems. May install pistons, sleeves, rings, bearings, rods, crankshafts, timing gears, and rocker arms. May be required to perform fuel injection equipment repair, overhaul, rebuild, and calibration duties utilizing a variety of complex test and calibration equipment.

(4) Independently performs repairs and maintenance functions in remote locations that can be accomplished by removing, cleaning, reinstalling, or replacing defective parts of components and systems such as injectors, leaking wheel cylinders, corroded mufflers, fuel tanks, brake cylinders and worn brake shoes, voltage regulators, generators, injector pumps, and fuel pumps. Provides technical guidance and specialized team leadership to lower grade employees within the team. Assists lower grade mechanics in performing major repair work. May provide Field and limited Sustainment maintenance at unit locations as part of a "contact team." Recovers and evacuates inoperable vehicles from the unit location of breakdown. May assist higher graded mechanics in repairing a variety of interconnected systems such as electrical, air and hydraulic systems, complex state of the art electrical and electronic systems that use specialized diagnostic equipment to identify problems, complex fuel injection systems and other similar complex systems.

(5) Conducts readiness and repair inspections on vehicles and associated equipment supported by the activity. Performs operational inspections and ensures vehicles and equipment are properly serviced, including brake adjustments, replacing hydraulic fluids, greasing, cleaning, etc., and performs other preventive maintenance operations as required. Inspects supported equipment prior to use during Inactive Duty Training (IDT) and Annual Training (AT), to ensure that it is functioning properly. May inspect in-process repair work of lower graded repairer to ensure equipment is being repaired in accordance with pertinent requirements. May serve as a commodity inspector during Command Maintenance Management evaluations (COMET) or as a member of a Maintenance Assistance Instruction Team (MAIT). Instructs operator/crew in the maintenance of equipment and provides technical advice and assistance to supported units when requested.

(6) May maintain and repair electronics communication equipment by removing and replacing components and elements. Equipment includes such items as radios, field telephones, amplifiers, switchboards, recorders, intercoms.
