As a Quality Assurance & Technical Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all pension guidance delivered meets established quality standards and is technically accurate. You’ll work closely with the Pensions Operations team, focusing on calls, webchat, and written enquiries to maintain high-quality service delivery. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with the Pensions Quality Assurance & Technical Manager and the Quality Assurance & Technical team.

As a Quality Assurance & Technical Specialist, you will be responsible:

Ensuring that all pension guidance delivered is technically accurate and that the customer experience standards are met.

The following are the main duties of the Quality Assurance & Technical Specialist role:

• Ensuring that services are technically accurate and meet an agreed set of customer service standards.
• Answer technical queries from our Pensions Guidance specialists about all and any aspects of pensions.
• Anticipating upcoming topics by picking up on new developments across the pensions industry.
• Update the technical accuracy of pensions guidance content and information products.
• Attend meetings and workshops etc., within the scope of the role.
• Contribute to the technical learning and development strategy and help to deliver the quality assurance plan, both of which deliver continuous improvement to the organisation.

You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience.

• A deep and wide knowledge of pensions’ law and practice across a broad range of pension arrangements, occupational, personal, and state pension
• An understanding and appreciation of wider retirement issues and non-pension assets, including state benefits.
• Must be good at dealing with members of the public, translating complex ideas and topics clearly.
• A commitment to on-going personal and professional development; we may require you to undertake training within the scope of the role.
• A successful track record of producing clear, technical communications.
• FPMI, APMI or CII qualifications or equivalent in related areas (Desirable).

Services include provision of highquality case management, clinical treatment, advocacy, and coordination of linkages to other appropriate VA or community service providers and/or agencies as needed by the client. Accomplished in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Develops an assessment of the Veteran in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team, the Veteran, family members and significant others;
• Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment and skills needed for all adult patients including geriatric patients related to their physical limitations, psychological needs and age associated illnesses and conditions;
• Understands problems of advancing age and respect for the diversification of the aging Veteran population;
• Works within the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop a treatment plan with the Veteran based on this assessment;
• Functions as a primary point of contact and information to Veterans and family members who are seeking information about VA Extended Care Services provided at this facility;
• Serves as a primary back up for the Social Work GEC Supervisor, thus providing an additional source of knowledge in this increasingly specialized and complex area of VA services;
• Provides education related to VA and community resources, entitlements, Advance Directives/Living Will;
• Refers Veterans/families to the appropriate interdisciplinary team member for identified health education needs;
• Provides the Veterans and their caregivers with ongoing supportive counseling; and
• Other related duties as assigned.

National Highways have an exciting opportunity for a Pavement Engineer to join our Pavements team in the East region. The Pavement Engineer will work in a multi-disciplinary role within the Pavement team which will include assisting with the development and delivery of a wide range of pavement renewal schemes, to ensure that the strategic road network (SRN) safely meets the requirements of our customers now and into the future. The Pavement Engineer will work closely with key stakeholders including project teams and third parties and assist with coordinating works across the region, providing technical support and ensuring adherence to our defined asset class strategies, policies and standards.

You will be required to drive as part of your role and you will need to have no more than 3 points to be considered for this position and during employment.

What you'll be working on:

• Ensure the health and safety needs and wellbeing of customers and employees are fully considered and accounted for throughout the planning and delivery of each service activity
• Undertake the identification and evaluation of asset data and needs in order to develop early solutions, in line with agreed methodologies and prioritisation criteria.
• Develop early solutions for improvements and/or renewals, including the compiling of relevant documents, evidence and options for value management, taking into account new techniques, materials, buildability, and costs.
• Monitor the delivery of agreed early solutions and plans, liaising with the relevant teams to identify and/or rectify issues.
• Identify, prepare briefs and manage delivery of survey works that support the improvement and/or renewal of assets.
• Assists with developing the Region's asset led forward programme and initial scheme development Delivers customer centric designs and technical specifications.
• Recommends improvements in the development of asset management processes and approaches

To be successful you'll need

• A Degree / HND or HNC in a Civil Engineering or similar
• Membership of a relevant professional body such as ICE/CIHT/IHE is desirable
• Knowledge of asset condition assessment and degradation modelling
• Excellent knowledge of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) standards and their application on the highway network.
• Experience in highway infrastructure design, construction and delivery methods.
• Strong knowledge of CDM 2015

The Assistant Section Chief is responsible for managing Provider schedules and leave. This person is responsible for Provider onboarding, education and training. He or She will resolve front line clinical care questions and/or concerns. The Assistant Chief will collaborate with the Service Line Manager to develop performance expectations for Physicians and complete annual proficiencies including Pay for Performance, FPPEs and OPPEs. Work closely with the Primary Care (PC) Service Chief to determine appropriate MCA labor mapping, panel size and PCMM FTE. This incumbent is required to work with other clinical services such as Specialty Care, Radiology, Mental Health, Laboratory, Urgent Care as well as GEC/CLC. Develop and supervise clinical education programs for PC Providers and Trainees. Participate in groups created for PC Leadership including VISN and National calls when the Service Chief is absent. He or She is required to travel to CBOCs on a regular basis as well as travel to conferences and meetings. This position will be 40% Administrative Duties and 60% Clinical Duties. This position may be required to cover intermittently, PACT teams and same day services as a gap and float Provider. Other duties as assigned.
