What a Director, Management Consultant, Visa Consulting & Analytics for Regional Southeast Asia does at Visa:

We are looking for an individual to join us as a Strategy SME in Visa Consulting and Analytics practice lead for Regional SEA team based in Singapore. This individual will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payments strategy consulting across regional cluster comprising of Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia (IPVMC) working with the respective VCA Market leads. The Director will be responsible for significant components of client consulting engagements, and in some cases leading end-to-end delivery of these engagements, within the Strategy practice vertical. The Senior Director of Sales, Issuing Solutions for AP will be accountable for driving top line revenue growth and overall market adoption of Issuer-centric Products across the region to support Visa’s aggressive growth targets for Value-Added-Services (“VAS”).  This role to be based in Singapore will involve a quota-based SIP (Sales Incentive Plan), and reports to the SVP, Regional VAS for AP.

This leader will drive maximum value within our existing installed customer base with primary responsibilities to drive revenue, retention and renewals, and the day-to-day relationships with our most strategic clients.  Through operational excellence, this leader will ensure optimal customer engagement post sales.

Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Area

• Ongoing evolution of the Airline consulting strategy within the Seller/Fintech  consulting practice

• Holistic understanding of the Airline industry (trends. players, best practices, multifunctional experience across strategy, optimization, organization etc.)

• Domain knowledge at industry level of customer & commercial aspects (CRM, Loyalty, Selling/Servicing channels, etc.), operational aspects, back office (ERP, HR, Finance, etc.,)

• Development and expansion of offerings relevant to Airlines that support business growth including data related services, cobrands, Value Added Services etc.

• Build close relationships with Airline partners to develop expert understanding of their specific evolving needs.

• Strong desire to collaborate with colleagues across Hub functional practices Strategy, Product, Risk, Digital, Managed Services and our regional and global teams to utilize their expertise and share yours

• Ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization of both Visa and clients.

Job Scope

Under the general guidance of the Director of Finance, you oversee and direct all aspects of the finance function, including the accounting operation, financial reporting, managing relationships with lenders and compliance with tax and other governmental authorities.

Reports directly to the Director of Finance on all day-to-day operational matters affecting the hotel, and directly to the Director of Finance on all finance matters.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervises the accounting department of the Hotel
• Directs the accounting departments of the hotels to ensure strong accounting procedures and controls are in place, and financial reporting is timely, reliable and accurate.
• Responsible for all staffing matters for the finance function including recruitment, training and counseling of employees.
• Oversees hotel accounting systems and ensures full use is made of system capabilities.
• Responsible to produce the most effective and efficient accounting organization and processes to support the hotel’s operations.
• Provides financial support to the Director of Finance/GM and the hotel Executive Committee, including periodic reporting, financial analysis, forecasts etc. 
• Provides financial input on all significant business decisions.
• Monitors departmental costs across hotel and provides leadership in controlling and reducing costs.
• Monitors financial performance and provides the management team and with early warnings of variances from budget or forecast.  Responds proactively to business developments, and assists the management team to take appropriate action to address changing circumstances.
• Liaises with finance department in and ensure all reporting requirements and requests for information are satisfied in a timely manner.
• Oversees the consolidation of the financial information for reporting to the banks and joint venture partners.
• Oversees the accumulation of the financial information for reporting to tax accountants and tax authorities. 
• Oversees F&B accounting and reporting and monitors relations/responds.
• Responsible for liaising with banks, and monitoring compliance with all loan agreements and covenants.
• Oversees the generation of operating and cash flow forecasts for Corporate office and for the banks, as per directed by the Director of Finance.
• Responsible for managing and supporting the annual budget process.
• Oversees capital project budgets and reporting.

What a Director, Finance Business Partner – Merchant Sales & Acquiring (MS&A) does at Visa:

• Primary Finance support for MS&A function
• Establish and maintain excellent working partnerships with the MS&A function head and leadership teams.
• Effectively partner with MS&A function to prepare Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasts ensuring all relevant issues / projects / initiatives are correctly addressed and/or resolved
