Changing Lives Learning Trust are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Manager to perform an integral role in delivering a high quality, efficient and effective HR service for the Trust.

You will work in conjunction with an established HR team and be responsible for managing and delivering day-to-day HR operations ensuring support is provided for Headteachers, senior leaders, and staff across the Trust, while aiding the implementation and application of all human resource policies and procedures.

You will have responsibility for case management and lead on policy development as well as ensuring the team meets statutory requirements in relation to safeguarding, recruitment and HR procedures.

The College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) at Cornell University has partnered with City University of Hong Kong (CityU) to develop a College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences that seeks to become a center of excellence in veterinary medicine in Asia. As part of this partnership, CVM hosts CityU vet students in Ithaca, NY each summer for an animal husbandry “extramural studies” program. About This Job

What you’ll do

• Responsible for the coordination and delivery of a risk-based audit plan and assurance for the legal vehicles in Germany (CGME, CBNAF) and the country as a whole

• Report to the Management and Supervisory Board on assurance delivered and insights

• Responsible for all IA Head of Audit Governance and Oversight requirements related to Germany and will support the Europe Chief Auditor in the overall Cluster assurance.

What we’ll need from you

• Suitable Internal Audit experience, preferably including the German and/or European market and regulatory environment. International experience is preferred

• Experience in leading and in influencing geographically dispersed teams of world-class professionals; experience in highly respected diversified, complex institutions

• Strong leadership skills including a track record of identifying and developing talent

• Knowledge of MaRisk, and a high degree of familiarity with financial sector regulation. Should have a good level of knowledge of liability issues, the use of different legal vehicles, standard documentation, and other legal risks
