The radiotherapy department sits within oncology outpatients. We treat approximately 1200 new patients including breast, prostate, lung, head & neck and GI. Currently we use a Philips 16 slice wide bore CT scanner, one Halcyon and two Varian TrueBeam Linacs running on Aria with Eclipse planning, and an Xstrahl superficial skin unit.

The service is continually working to implement practice development and all staff are encouraged to contribute to the achievement of these. We are able to provide opportunities for staff development both through robust in house training programmes and commissioned CPD funding.

We are continually looking to develop roles and service within radiotherapy, we have a two consultant radiographer posts. We have also implemented SABR for lung and Oligometastic disease and are exploring opportunities to expand both SABR and advanced practice further.
• Provide clinical practice relevant to all areas within the scope of the role.

The Clinical Site Manager has specific responsibilities in relation to the Mental Health Act and will act as the point of contact and co-ordination within the Trust. The Clinical Site Manager is responsible for accessing and retaining the required documentation, which will be stored in the Clinical Site Manager’s office.

The Clinical Site Management will Ensure patients privacy and dignity is maintained in line with the Trust’s same sex accommodation policy, promoting a ‘zero’ tolerance for breaches.

Work in collaboration with Emergency Planning colleagues to ensure that systems are in place to support major incident and business continuity planning.

The post holder is responsible to update trust escalation status in the Capacity Monitoring System (CMS) and liaise with EBS if trust require any specialist beds.

Out of hours take responsibility for the intra departmental and/or ward redeployment of staff following risk assessments to mitigate any identified or potential risks.

Escalate and clinical issues to respective teams by filtering doctors bleep calls from wards and departments to facilitate timely interventions at the earliest opportunity taking into consideration local arrangements.

Assess and initiate treatment for deteriorating patients as appropriate.

Undertake a wide range of advanced clinical interventions which include the extended role of the Registered Nurse, e.g. Cannulation, venepuncture, male catheterisation.

To provide senior nursing support in the event of a clinical emergency out of hours which may require leading the emergency team as first responder in any area of the hospital site while waiting for assistance.

McGinley are looking for a Civils Ganger/Team leader to join us on a long term, ongoing project in North London.

You will be in charge of a team of 1 x 360 Excavators, 1 x MSO Groundworker and 1 x Groundworker.

You must have recent experience working as a Ganger on Streetworks in a civils project.

You will need to hold the following tickets

- SSSTS

- CSCS Blue Card

- Dumper/Roller (preferable but not essential)

- First Aid

As a Charge Nurse/Team Leader your key responsibilities include:
• Managing admissions and discharges
• Planning the nursing staff roster
• Supervising and guiding other nurses and cares in their work
• Monitoring patients, administering medication following company's policy and reporting patients ‘condition to doctors
• Maintaining inventories of medical supplies and medicines
• Mentoring and training new staff, providing support and guidance to all staff members

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

The oncology department provides services primarily to the patients of Enfield, Haringey, Barnet, West Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas, within a purpose built radiotherapy department and newly refurbished and integrated Chemotherapy Day Unit (CDU) and dedicated oncology ward.
