About the Role

Using your professional, strategic, analytical and date driven skills, you will ensure that the organisation is a leading provider of services to vulnerable clients/tenant groups in line with values and responsibilities as a Registered Social Landlord.

The Head of Asset Management will have a lead responsibility for stock appraisals, investment/disinvestment in property decisions, oversee both the Capital and Revenue Major Works budget and you will be involved in health & safety and environmental responses across the organisation in relation to the buildings.

You will also lead on the organisations exciting vision for delivery of planned maintenance and decarbonisation.

Night Shift Duty Manager at M&S, Brighton Station

Pay Rate: £12.63 per hour, regardless of age + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6am, bringing your rate of pay to £14.13 per hour.
Shift Pattern: 22:00pm
- 07:00am and 04:00am to 12:00pm. Full Time (37.5 hours) , any 5 days out of 7, working flexibly over weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Due to some responsibilities within the Duty Manager role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and will be required to handle and serve alcohol.

AS A DUTY MANAGER YOU’LL:

- Have at least 1 year of experience working as a supervisor in hospitality or retail role

Based at Brighton Racecourse this role has responsibility for the management of our culinary offering across all racedays and events at one of the country’s most prestigious sports venues.

Working in conjunction with the Regional Head Chef you will also be at the forefront of the food development and delivery of our non raceday events business.

Key duties include:

To work closely with the Regional Head Chef regarding revenue budgets and cost targets
Develop and deliver an innovative food strategy across the venue's retail, hospitality and fine dining proposition.
To implement and adhere to the Company Food Safety Management System across all areas within remit.

You will work closely with the General Manager to identify and create new Customer opportunities, as well as offering targeted sales to existing customer groups.

This role requires you to work a 5 day week which may include occasional weekends and bank holidays.

Focusing on high-potential customers. You will manage a portfolio of customers, spending time in the field as well as in the branch. Visiting existing and potential new customers to develop sales and margin – up selling and cross selling to suit customer needs.
