As a Physical Scientist (Senior R&D Analyst), you will:

- Work with Division Manager, Analysts, Project Managers, external stakeholders, and team members from different areas of expertise to determine appropriate work and test procedures for materials used in currency such as inks, papers, and special substrates.
- Plan and perform investigations to develop new methods and means of validating findings. Isolates unknown and novel conditions to develop methods and assessment techniques.

As a Trial Attorney in the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), you will serve as the Litigation, Enforcement and Adjudication’s (Litigation) subject matter expert (SME) in labor and employment matters, including those that could pose a litigation risk to the agency. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Representing the agency before the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
• Providing legal counsel to the agency on complex aspects of employment and labor law and represents the agency in employment and labor litigation matters.
• Conducting research into the law, analyzes and reviews or prepares briefs and pleadings for important cases in the United States District Courts, MSPB, EEOC, FLRA and its FSIP in which the Commission is a party.

This announcement is for a position as a CORE (Cadre of On-Call Response/Recovery Employee). CORE employees are full-time employees hired to directly support the response and recovery efforts related to disasters. Employees are hired under the Robert T. They can be hired under a streamlined process instead of a competitive process. After three years of continuous service, Stafford Act employees may be granted competitive eligibility to apply for permanent full-time positions at FEMA.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The Assistant DNI for Acquisition Procurement & Facilities (ADNI/AP&F) ensures U.S. intelligence superiority by enabling the identification, development and timely fielding of breakthrough capabilities, innovatively applying advanced technologies and promoting acquisition excellence. ADNI/AP&F is the Intelligence Community (IC) catalyst for technical innovation, responsive stewardship, and acquisition & procurement excellence addressing the key intelligence challenges by establishing and maintaining an agile and transparent best-practice environment that promotes innovation, responsible financial stewardship, and IC acquisition and procurement success. The Intelligence Community Senior Procurement Executive (IC SPE) reports to the ADNI/ AP&F and is responsible for oversight of IC procurement programs, policies and processes and strategic sourcing initiatives; fostering a well-qualified mission focused IC procurement workforce; and promoting IC level industry outreach.

Major duties and responsibilities include the following:

Serve as principal advisor to DDNI/P&C, ADNI/ AP&F, the IC CFO, the IC CIO, and other senior officials within the ODNI on contracting and procurement matters;

Support a flexible acquisition environment that facilities rapid exploitation of emerging technologies and innovation within industry;

• Writes, publishes, reviews, and measures the success of press releases on AmeriCorps.gov (Drupal), advisories, social media, and other relevant materials, aligning plans with agency goals and objectives as directed by the Press Secretary.
• Writes briefing memos for senior leaders for upcoming interviews. Contributes to the strategic development and production of media materials.
• Provides CEO and senior leadership with regular updates on press activity, press production, crisis response, and CEO social media.
