Are you a UK-based Registered Nurse looking for a new opportunity to work in a supportive and kind environment that will help you develop and achieve your career goals to become the best you can be? If so, join the team at The Dean as a Senior Sister.
Your career at Elysium will be enjoyable and rewarding as you develop specialist skills and make a real difference for some of the most vulnerable people in society.
Being a Senior Sister at The Dean is a career that you can take pride in and enjoy. It’s what delivering great healthcare should feel like.
What you will be doing
As a Senior Sister you will join a supportive multi-disciplinary team that works well together in caring for people of all ages who are living with neurological and long-term conditions, including those living with physical disabilities and recovering from traumatic injuries, and providing a high level of personal and rehabilitative care.
You will work as part of and lead wider teams alongside your therapy colleagues to deliver the individual care each person needs while maintaining accurate records.
It can be very physical working with people with limited mobility, providing personal care and although challenging, it is highly rewarding. You’ll be supported by a team of colleagues ready to lend a hand and work together to a common goal. No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.
The service is a 24/7 environment, with full time and part-time hours with a combination of shift patterns. Positions are across the full week so there are no set days in which you will work, with weekends included on a rota.
You’ll join our teams that support people who have complex rehabilitation needs such as tracheostomies / ventilated / peg feeds and who have extensive and long-term rehabilitation goals. In some cases, people’s mobility and speech can be affected and we work closely with a range of other services including wheelchair, speech and alternative communication aid providers.
