Role: Trainer Assessor - Carpentry and Joinery
Salary: £30,459 - £40,086 per annum

Carpentry & Joinery Trainer / Assessor to join the
Construction Apprenticeship team due to a recent in-house promotion to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

The Role:We are looking for suitably qualified individual to join our active, dynamic and friendly team of Assessors. The successful candidate will be required to deliver high quality apprenticeships and work-based training to local employers. You will look after a cohort of learners and prepare them for their End Point Assessment by making sure they are gathering the required work-based evidence and uploading it to their electronic portfolio. You will see to combine a speedy achievement for our employers and apprentices with a quality product for our candidates as well as developing and maintaining relationships with local employers.
In order to be successful in this role you must have relevant assessing qualification, verifier qualification and Level 2 English and maths.
You will need access to your own suitable transport to be able to visit clients across the Greater Manchester region.

Your main duties will include the following:
-To fully support the teaching and training to the agreed Apprenticeship Standards for Apprenticeship Programmes.
-Engage in core duties including preparation of portfolios, monitoring student progress, assessment and associated tracking of assessed work, developing and preparing flexible learning materials to help with End-Point Assessment Practice
-To develop, maintain and manage relationships with local employers.
-Be aware of, and maintain compliance with, all departmental and College requirements relating to Health & Safety and the on-going training required.
Required Skills and Experience:Have a minimum of a Level 3 (or equivalent) in Carpentry & Joinery or Wood Occupations
Has or be willing to undertake any relevant teaching and training qualification (TAQA or equivalent)
Has relevant up to date experience within the Construction Industry.
