The Individual Giving & Collection Development team is responsible for fundraising from Tate’s International Council, Patrons and Collection Committees as well as one-off projects centred on Tate’s collection.

We are looking for a highly organised administrator to provide effective and efficient support to the International Council and Patrons team, in support of the International Council and Patrons fundraising schemes.

The Administrator will undertake a wide array of activities from capturing donor information and relationships in the Development Office’s database (Raiser’s Edge), to managing and tracking incoming donations, liaising with teams across Tate, providing personal assistance support to the Head of International Council and Patrons, and contributing to a number of other administrative tasks that keep everything running smoothly.

You will be someone who has experience of working in an administrative or support role in a fast-paced office environment and be able to demonstrate that you can work with budgets or process invoices and expenses. Job purpose

Primary responsibilities of The Archivist Intern will be digitalising paper materials which will include organising paper documents & digital documents, item description and the preservation of work at our offsite storage based in Brentford, London.

The intern will learn strategies for making archival materials accessible and how to digitise images at archival standards. The intern will work directly with the Archivist, Executive Chairman and Associate Director, People and Operations.

Key accountabilities

• Cataloguing of the Harrison Parrott Collection (HPC).
• Creating a timeline/history of Jasper Parrott’s working life, which will also involve sorting and cataloguing about 15 years’ worth of concert programmes/important meetings notes.
• To support the work on the Harrison Parrott Collection by receiving, identifying and processing materials.
• To digitise documents for the Harrison Parrott collection.
• To carry out any necessary administrative tasks in relation to the post.
To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post that may reasonably be required.

This role provides good experience in the management of elderly and frail patientswith theopportunity to develop skills in comprehensive geriatric assessment, prescribing and de-prescribing, communication and MDT working. There are plentiful opportunities to participate in our departmental meetings, develop teaching skills and become involved in quality improvement across the department.

The post holder will actively seek opportunities for innovative improvement projects and work with key stakeholders across all sites to promote the uptake and delivery of such projects. You will support improvement programmes and projects, working with staff to identify and quantify new opportunities, develop project plans, and provide targeted support to scale up and embed impact.

If so, we want YOU to join our 12-months internship program in our Solutions Engineering department starting in October 2024!

This exciting internship will provide you with a fundamental understanding of our industry-leading technologies along with the commercial and relationship-based selling skills to communicate the value of F5’s solutions. Our program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the solutions engineering processes while allowing you to make a real impact on our business and help making the internet a safer place for everyone.

You will report to our Head of Solutions Engineering UKI, providing you with an opportunity to learn from one of our leaders. You will also be supported by a locally based team member as your mentor whilst you are part of our program.

Your Typical Day May Involve:

• Combining your technical knowledge with communication and relationship building skills to support the technical development and engagement across the country
• Learning how to build, demonstrate and articulate F5’s solutions
• Collaborating with our regional team of solutions engineers and contribute to brainstorming and initiatives to review how we work and bring your perspective and ideas
• Providing assistance on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to the wider Solutions Engineering organization
• Discovering & learning the DevOps methodology and helping cross train others
• Conducting market research to understand industry trends relevant to F5.

You Are:

• Currently studying a Computer Science or related Information Technology degree at a university or have graduated within the last 12 months prior to the start date
• Keen to use and further grow your technical skills and combine these with a commercial and relationship building role.

• Your tech interests include modern applications, Cyber Security, Cloud and OS technologies
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills and are able build collaborative and relationship-driven partnerships internally and externally
• You are a fluent English language speaker.

This will be a paid fulltime internship for a 12-months duration commencing in October 2024. If you successfully complete your internship there is the opportunity to convert into a full-time employee.
