We have an opportunity for you to undertake a secondment/fixed term contract as a key member of the Leakage Optimisation Team.
This role involves daily management and monitoring of leakage performance, initiating corrective actions and collaborating with our operations field teams to encourage and steer improvements.
Support the active prioritisation of repair backlog to help optimise leakage delivery of the active, visible, and customer side leak repair activities.
What you will be doing as a Leakage Optimisation Analyst
- Daily leakage monitoring in their appointed network area utilising systems at their disposal such as Salesforce identifying issues in their areas and issuing work for resolution promptly to ensure jobs are raised and resolved as quickly as possible.
- Ensure the Campaign Management and Targeting process is followed, in line with the current leakage strategic approach and to enable effective leakage detection contractor performance management.
- Report and raise jobs for network assets district meter faults to maintain levels of availability and operability against performance commitment and enable effective leakage targeting.
- Support the Leakage Engineer with network improvement activities by identifying opportunities for more effective leakage management, and operability anomalies, and by escalating function set anomalies for investigation.
- Ensure that the data on all our systems is fit for purpose and accurate.
- Deputise for Leakage Optimisation Engineer on occasion, attend meetings, etc and support the team to deliver the company’s leakage action plan and risk management plan.
- Base location is Deephams in Enfield, North London.
- Hours are 36 a week, Monday to Friday.
- Please note this a fixed term contract/secondment of between 7 & 12 months to cover maternity leave.
What you should bring to the role
- You will have good analytical, and problem-solving skills (please include brief details of this with your application).
- Be motivated to learn and work in a busy and sometimes challenging environment.
- Have effective communication skills required for collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Possibly have a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or Environmental degree.
- Ideally have a working knowledge and understanding of water networks or hydraulic systems.
- Have full driving licence and own transport is desirable.
