Radiographer

Bournemouth Hospital | Radiology | Permanent contract | Full time

Up to £33,750 depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Radiographer at our Bournemouth Hospital, you'll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you're caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) and excellent teamwork skills.

As a Radiographer, you will:

• Help deliver our high-quality diagnostic imaging service.

• Experience a varied caseload in the department, on the ward and in theatre.

• Work with leading practitioners and experiencing new practices, equipment and facilities.

• Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures.

• Supervise and develop junior colleagues.

• Ensure you provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

• Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service.

To succeed as a Radiographer you will have:

• High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.

• A caring nature - to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.

• A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

• Excellent communication and team working abilities.
