Job objectives and responsibilitiesResponsibility and accountability for; requesting, chasing, troubleshooting and obtaining, compliant references, within client SLA date. Ensuring the on time delivery of high integrity, fully compliant background check dossiers to our clients. This should be undertaken in the most expedient and cost-effective manner possible. Providing a high level customer service carefully managing the applicant experience and guiding each applicant through the multitude of checks that require their direct involvement and also to ensure they understand and are comfortable with their progress through the process.



Main Duties

- Responsible for the on time completion and delivery of robust, high integrity and compliant dossier submissions.

- Researching the right people to provide compliant references and obtaining their full contact details. Speaking to potential referees and persuading them to provide an admissible reference.• Review all tasks daily - Requesting references, Chasing references via the phone, responding to applicant and referee emails. Ensure everything has been completed within the specified SLA's.

- Strong knowledge of, correct application and adherence to the appropriate referencing rules and client requirements.• Utilise our own in-house portal to track all activities in relation to applicants and the progress of their background checking in a clear and concise manner.• Providing telephone advice and guidance to customers throughout the process in a professional and caring manner.• Accepting receipt of a reference on behalf of the company, after ensuing that it is 100% compliant.• Dealing with any applicant concerns in a sensitive manner.• Assembly of each reference within a final application, in order to produce an admissible dossier for a client and/or regulator.• Final checking of dossiers before being submitted to our clients.

- Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security policies, standards and procedures.

- Report actual and suspected security incidents to the Information Security team.

The Orthodontic and Oral & Maxillofacial Laboratory Service at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Specialist Dental Technician. The post holder will be expected to develop and maintain effective working relationships within a wide range of clinical and support staff in the Trust and with independent contractors who receive a service from the laboratory.

In 2012, Winchester and Basingstoke's Dental Laboratories combined on the Basingstoke site. 1. Clinical Duties

2. Provide support to the Dental Laboratory Supervisor in the training and technical assistance needed for the registrar / MSc student research projects

3. Support the Dental Laboratory Supervisor in the preparation of demonstration models, models for photography, lectures, and papers for publication.

4. Attend postgraduate courses to assist where necessary.

5. Keep up to date with advances in dental technology and new materials, pursuing research into the use of new methods and materials and participating in short courses where necessary and appropriate.



3. Communication and Working Relationships



The post holder will be directly accountable Dental Laboratory Supervisor. The post holder will need to establish effective working relationships with departmental staff at all levels and across disciplines both internal and external to the department to ensure effective clinical service delivery at all times.



4. Confidentiality

In the course of duties, the post holder may have access to confidential material about patients, members of staff or other health service business. BNHH has 18 critical care beds and receives over 1000 critical care admissions each year. We routinely manage complex surgical patients, as the hospital is a tertiary referral centre for peritoneal malignancy surgery. We also manage complex cardiology patients, as the hospital is the Trust hub for cardiology, with a 24-7 PPCI service.

A formal job plan will be agreed between the appointee and the clinical supervisor. The clinical duties willinclude those normally expected of a Clinical Fellow in a Critical Care unit of any general hospital in the UnitedKingdom.



This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop ultrasound skills alongside experienced trainers in FUSIC Heart, Lung, Abdomen, Vascular, DVT and Haemodynamic modules.



The BNHH critical care department has 3 cart-based ultrasound machines, and soon 2 state of the art handhelds all with network/ archiving/storage capability. The successful applicant will have up to 10% protected time to develop their ultrasound skills.

The successful applicant would be expected to deliver full on call pattern within Critical Care and then an even split between Anaesthetics and Critical Care for the remainder of the shifts. Anaesthetic shifts will exclusively be in either Peritoneal Malignancy or Hepatobiliary theatres. Applicants can expect to gain experience in managing these patients at all points in the perioperative journey. From a practical procedures point of view the vast majority of these patients receive thoracic epidurals, and full invasive monitoring including subclavian CVC lines.



There are also opportunities to learn and develop ultrasound skills alongside experienced trainers in FUSIC Heart, and Lung modules.

A formal job plan will be agreed between the appointee and the clinical supervisor. The clinical duties willinclude those normally expected of a Clinical Fellow in a Critical Care unit of any general hospital in the UnitedKingdom.Resident on-call availability is required, which is supported by a dedicated consultant support from home.The working pattern is compliant with the EuropeanWorking Time Directive.Total direct clinical care hours averaged over 6 weeks will not exceed 48 hours perweek.Prospective cover for colleagues’ annual leave is required.There is potential for working more or lessthanthis to suitindividualcircumstances.

The successful candidate will assume a direct clinical role within the Emergency Department, taking responsibility for the initial assessment and management of patients. Post holders will be expected to gain and maintain certification in ALS, ATLS and APLS, or recognized equivalents to these courses. Consultants are present on the shop floor from 8am to 10:30pm(Winchester), 8am to midnight( Basingstoke) on weekdays and from 11am to 8pm at weekends. The Middle Grade doctors play a highly valued and extremely important role in leading the clinical team when the Consultants are not present.
