RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To provide general support to the Production Manager and ensure the production schedules and planning is able to operate on time. To assists in scheduling, planning and forecasting inventory requirements in order to maintains a smooth running and efficient department.
• To assists generating Master Production Schedules and Manufacturing Orders, forecasting inventory requirements, optimizing inventory levels as well as helping the organization evaluate and implement an inventory management ERP system.
• Work closely with Marketing, Production, Purchasing and Inventory Teams to plan, monitor inventory levels, and to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Review sales forecasts, customer demands, and schedule production orders based on inventory levels and production lead times.
• Take part in the logistics planning for raw materials and work in progress.
• Take charge of planning and making tactical buying decisions and execute purchasing strategies and handle repeat buy.
• Coordinate production material requirements with marketing or purchasing to assure adequate inventory of raw materials and packaging.
• Assist to maintain bills of material for production processes.
• Responsible for accurate raw materials and work in progress inventory level.
• Assist to oversee production planning and management activities with the organization.
• Assist to develop production planning and timelines according to production specifications.
• Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications.
• Identify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Notify Marketing Team on any delays and outages.
• Maintaining of ISO documentations.
• Others ad hoc duty as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Engineering/Business Management/Equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Production Planning Management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
• Self Motivated
• Able to work independently with initiative
• Able to work under pressure

- Must check all the details by using AMK payment voucher & make sure the payment voucher running number is correct.

1. Assist on some purchasing on company letter head, envelope & toilet roll.

2. Prepare daily/ weekly/ monthly purchase payment by using RMS system

3. Call out all the contract report by monthly basic (RMS system)

4. Prepare Trucking Cost, estimation purchase & some journal entry for account closing purpose

5. Letter / Correspondance

- Maintenance of vehicle – pass to logistic dept

- Maintenance of machine – pass to operation – Samy / Sam

- Medical report – pass to Mr. Lim

- Purchase tax invoice – pass to relevant HOD for approval (Can refer to the RMS Name Master)

6. Upload AR from RMS into Xero system.

- Must make sure all the document entries are correct & complete posted by Karen / Jojo in RMS system.

7. Prepare AR Statement by monthly basic

- Email AR statement for customer & relevant HOD to follow up the outstanding payment.

8. Updated Cash card Report

- After Raymond top up cash card, updated cash card no. & top up date in Cash Card report.

- If have cash card error, must fill in Cash card refund form & need to submit to OCBC Counter for refund $.

The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on development of high-energy femtosecond fibre lasers for multiphoton imaging applications. The project is to introduce innovative fiber laser technology to enable low-cost medical diagnosis through multi-photon imaging for brain disease studies. As we strive to make a significant impact on healthcare, we are seeking a talented and motivated Research Fellow to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on ultrafast fibre laser, chirped pulse amplification system tailored for multi-photon imaging applications.
• Collaborate with specialty fiber developer and laser application group to define laser performance requirements.
• Develop a simulation tool or template to study evolution of ultrafast pulse in a laser cavity.
• Document findings, publish papers and present at conferences.

Job Requirement:

• PhD in Electrical and Electronic, Physics or a related field, with specialisation on fibre lasers.
• 3-year research experience in related area.
• Expertise in mode-locked fibre laser.
• Strong knowledge in fibre design, ultrafast pulse dynamics, soliton dynamics.
• Demonstrated track record of publications.
• Proficiency in laser design software, simulation tools and optical modelling.
