The role will sit within the Marketing and Communications Office and report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager - Business Partnering. The responsibility of the Business Partnering function is to develop relationships with, and support its internal clients (professional staff and academics) from across the university to meet the objectives as set out above, through the provision of marketing expertise and delivery of targeted marketing campaigns and support.

To achieve this, the Marketing Officer - Business Partnering will support the function in establishing strong working relationships with clients from across the University and work collaboratively with the wider Marketing and Communications Office, utilising expertise to develop and deliver, amongst others:

Outline of the role

The Retail Apprenticeship will involve working in our store as a full -time team member, helping with every aspect of creating a great customer experience and learning about how a retailer operates their business. The Role and the Department

The Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO) is responsible for coordinating philanthropy, alumni and supporter engagement, and advancement communications on behalf of the University. DARO works with colleges, academic departments, research centres and institutes, wider student experience partners, and professional departments to engage over 180,000 alumni and supporters around the world. 

The Development Team within DARO is responsible for: soliciting donations from alumni, philanthropists, corporations, trusts and foundations, and other charitable bodies; stewarding major and principal donors through reports, presentations, events and face-to-face meetings; meeting with gift beneficiaries to collate and produce gift impact reporting materials; hosting and devising engagement opportunities for existing and prospective donors on campus; and relationship managing high-level stakeholders on behalf of the University. 

The Development and Marketing Officer - Legacies sits within the Legacy and Planned Giving Team and is responsible for supporting and advancing the team's activities. They will take an active role in promoting legacy-giving, cultivating donors, stewarding donors, facilitating income, administering gifts, and ongoing donor relations.

The Development and Marketing Officer will contribute to both existing and new approaches to marketing that will deliver increased awareness of the potential of legacy-giving among supporters and friends of the University. Through the professional handling of interactions with prospective pledgers by phone, email and at events, they will promote legacy-giving and encourage ongoing dialogue with supporters.

The Development and Marketing Officer will play an important part in relationship-building with prospects and support the conversion of enquiries by responding to standard enquiries, providing information, and recording interactions on the Raiser's Edge database. They will have input into the planning and delivery of direct mail activities and events. There may be the opportunity to hold prospect meetings in the UK.

During the stewardship phase of the relationship with those supporters who have pledged a gift in their will, the Development and Marketing Officer will promote ongoing engagement opportunities

Marketing Manager, Demand Generation

The Demand Generation Manager brings an innovative spirit and a deep focus on data in the design and implement of a comprehensive campaign marketing plan within IQVIA’s Research & Development Solutions (R&DS) Marketing team. The Manager will be the central point for driving campaigns globally, and to ensure marketing campaigns achieve their objectives. This role will partner with the various marketers to understand the audience and the solutions within the business unit in order develop compelling campaigns that drive demand for IQVIA’s RDS solutions. They will work with the Director of Digital Marketing to create, execute, and monitor the performance of marketing campaigns. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with marketing teams to build prescriptive persona-based buyer journeys as the foundation for campaign strategy.
• Work with marketers across our team and in our company to ensure proper messaging, timing, and execution of multi-channel campaigns.
• Plan, launch, and fine-tune branding and lead generation campaigns to meet organizational objectives.
• Apply an experimentation mindset to marketing campaigns to drive, test, learn, and optimize. Continuously conduct A/B testing across all channels
• Identify campaign objective and KPIs while continuously monitoring campaign performance and make necessary adjustments for optimal results.
• Determine best digital, social, events and other tactics with the goal of optimizing campaign and channel performance (through KPIs such as MQL conversion, pipeline influence/attribution, web visits, social engagement etc.).
• Manage the campaign budget, allocating spend for creative, media, and production and ensuring each campaign delivers a strong ROI.
• Run reports on campaign performance which may include platforms such as Salesforce, Google Data Studio, Power BI, Khoros. Apply your analytical skills and use data to identify trends/insights to optimize performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Marketing.
• 4+ years of Marketing experience with experience in B2B Marketing from the CRO (Clinical Research Org.) or pharmaceutical industry most preferred, or life science B2B marketing experience.
• 2+ years of demand generation experience (Growth marketing, campaign management, media buying, lead/pipeline generation and/or similar) Data driven.
• Demonstrates a keen understanding and appreciation of metrics, have experience with A/B testing, and marketing program optimization.
• Ability to track and report on key metrics that measure performance in programs and campaigns inclusive of traffic, revenue, conversions, and ROI
• Experience with various productivity and office tools (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Smartsheet)
• Familiarity preferred with various marketing, sales, and analytics platforms (Eloqua, Salesforce, Khoros, GA4, Google Data Studio, Power BI).

Your new role
As Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for delivering consistent and impactful digital marketing support across various online platforms. You will be responsible for:
* Assist in crafting and executing digital and social media strategies.
* Design, execute, and assess PPC campaigns across Google's platforms, including Google Ads, Display Network, and YouTube, as well as targeted social media campaigns aligned with brand goals.
* Coordinate email marketing initiatives to complement digital campaigns and promotional activities.
* Spearhead the creation of innovative digital content to enhance campaign engagement.
