We have an exciting opportunity due to the retirement of the current post holder, for a motivated individual to join our Pathology Quality Team at Addenbrookes Hospital.

You will be primarily responsible for supporting the management team in the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service across the Blood Science laboratories, incorporating automated Biochemistry and Haematology including Haemoglobinopathy and the associated specialist laboratories of Endocrinology and Trisomy, Haemostasis, Biochemical Genetics Unit including Newborn Blood Spot screening and supporting accreditation activities in Immunology and Blood Transfusion.

Other duties include the maintenance and development of the quality management system, taking an active role in the transition of services to the single quality management system (QMS). • Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of project developments and challenges.
