The Opporunity :

The Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) for the Asia Pacific region is responsible for leading the underwriting function and development of Underwriting Strategies across Retail and Commercial segments to ensure profitable growth and Insurance Risk management across all lines of business across the region. Qualifications, Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; MBA or professional insurance designation (e.g., ACII, FCII) preferred.
• 20+ years of underwriting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Depth of experience across commercial and retail businesses and in emerging markets (Asia preferred)
• Strong track record in portfolio management including experience with turnaround portfolios as well as capturing growth opportunities.

Our client, a renowned private bank is seeking an experience Compliance specialist to support our management team in ensuring adherence to all relevant Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining an effective control framework, transaction monitoring, and ensuring compliance with both group guidance and local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Executive Team and managing 1 direct report, you will oversee the full spectrum of Finance & Accounting activities. As the Deputy Director, Finance, you will oversee all financial operational aspects of the Company, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the agency's mission and goals.
