In this position, you will serve as a Financial Management Specialist for Region One in Cambridge, MA.

Typical assignments include:

• Preparing and submitting allocation requests to fund regional disaster travel and Programs - PA, HM, and IA.
• Reviewing and approving requests for supplies, equipment, or services to support disaster operations, confirming requests have accurate fund coding, are appropriately authorized and justified.
• Managing disaster travel, disaster blankets and funding.
• Adding staff to blankets, certifying blanket funding and local travel vouchers in Concur.
• Assisting staff with travel authorizations, vouchers and any questions, as needed.
• Managing and submitting monthly Disaster spend plans, closely coordinating with Programs and the National Spend Plan Team in reconciling trackers and submitting projections.
• Reviewing various funding reports daily, ensuring funds are allocated, committed and obligated appropriately, including returning funding, as needed.
• Submitting payroll funding for disasters monthly.
• Tracking and resolving unliquidated obligations and submit explanations quarterly.
• Maintaining communications and awareness with the Regional Comptroller.
• Supporting the Finance and Admin Section in an Emergency Assignment role to support the Regional Response Coordination Center if activated.
• Coordinating closely with Logistics and Operations.
• Managing the surge account and transitioning funding to the Disaster Relief Fund, overseeing travel, creating blankets, tracking lodging availability, submitting and processing lodging waivers, as needed.

Working on an exciting commercial project in Cambridge, they require a Senior Project Manager, as Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the following:

My client is a leading provider of M&E building services engineering and facilities management, providing a high specification client base with tailored and bespoke technical engineering solutions.

A Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer is required to carry out PPM, servicing, fault finding and reactive/breakdown repairs to air conditioning systems & equipment to include VRV, VRF, Splits, Cooling systems and AHU & FCU within a number of commercial/corporate buildings & industrial facilities located throughout Northampton and Cambridgeshire. Candidate will have to travel to slough and Kent once a month.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are always clean and tidy to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring they are meeting our cleaning standards and service levels
• Schedule and assign daily tasks to the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are cleaned in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering more as needed
• Liaise with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure guest needs are met
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate departments
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer Needed

Area : Covering Northampton/Cambridge/Colchester

Salary: £43,000 + Overtime

My client is a leading provider of M&E building services engineering and facilities management, providing a high specification client base with tailored and bespoke technical engineering solutions.

A Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer is required to carry out PPM, servicing, fault finding and reactive/breakdown repairs to air conditioning systems & equipment to include VRV, VRF, Splits, Cooling systems and AHU & FCU within a number of commercial/corporate buildings & industrial facilities located throughout Northampton and Cambridgeshire. Candidate will have to travel to slough and Kent once a month.

In addition to the air conditioning aspect of the position the successful candidate will also carry out general building services tasks to include fabric maintenance and basic plumbing as is required.

Candidate Requirements & Additional Information

• City & Guilds and/or NVQ in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration
• City & Guilds F-Gas (CAT 1)
• Recognised Air Conditioning/Refrigeration/HVAC apprenticeship
• Additional Qualifications i.e. City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE and/or ACS Gas
• Driving License

Please Note & Understand The Information Below

• Company Vehicle i.e. Van (Reasonable personal use permitted)
• Call-out rota working is essential and this is approx. 1 - 5 (due to sites being predominately office very little callout)
• Call-out runs from Friday - Friday
• Pension Scheme (Contributory)
• £77.00 paid for being on call.
• If called out paid at a minimum of 4 hours.
• 30 minute travel time each way
• 25 days holiday + stat days + Birthday
• The ability to pass a DBS/CRB check. Please do not apply for this position if you know that you are likely to fail the necessary background checks
• 40 hours a week paid but only work 39 hours 3:30 finish on a Friday

The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, assisting the chefs with food preparation, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Washing and cleaning dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensuring that all kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Sweeping and mopping floors, and removing trash and recycling.
• Assisting with basic food preparation, such as peeling and chopping vegetables.
• Receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies.
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Helping to set up and close down the kitchen.
