We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor who will provide classroom supervision to students who are undertaking work set by a class teacher. This job would be ideal for those who are considering entering the teaching profession in the future. Appropriate experience of working with students aged 11-16 would be an advantage. You will be required to develop and maintain good relationships with students and staff, and to work effectively as a team member. We are seeking to recruit an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Play work qualified Senior Playworker, to work in an established After School Club.
Severn Care Club is a CIW registered After School Club and offers 32 places for children to enjoy safe, stimulating play opportunities within an equal opportunities framework.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Senior Playworker to:
To develop and maintain an enriched, effective, flexible and stimulating play environment
To oversee planning for children and young people’s play
To oversee effective risk benefit management systems
To ensure compliance with the day-care regulations with regard to the National Minimum Standards for Regulated Child care
Supervise pain and voluntary Playworkers
Liaise with relevant statutory and non-statutory agencies and individuals
Maintain records
