Job Description

• Loading and unloading materials onto and from lorries.
• Move production materials between different work processes.
• Packing of finished goods for loading.
• Check supplier's delivered material quantity.
• Check correct delivery items to customers with delivery order.
• Arrange materials for next delivery.
• Proper arrangements and storage of materials and finished goods.
• Liase with production supervisors and drivers for delivery planning and goods movement.
• Regular care and maintenance of forklift.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Forklift Liscense.
• Have confidence and safety knowledge to handle long steel materials with forklift.
• Possess a calm and analytical mindset to manage priorities, able to sort out conflicting schedules independently and come up with good arrangements.
• Active in communicating information to various departments via walkie talkie app. Active discussion of conflicting schedules and updates with supervisors is highly encouraged and appreciated.

• Maintain neatness and general cleanliness of Office, lobby and office toilet.
• Wipe desks, partitions, tabletops, cabinets, glass doors and windows.
• Maintainence of pantry - displaying, organising and replenish pantry items.
• Prepare beverages for Management and customers.
• Clear waste paper baskets.
• Perform other relevant ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Work Hours & Location

• 5 days work
• Full-time, part-time, short hour available. Can be discussed.

The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between customers and company production.

His/hers job roles are as below:

1. Ensure that customer work orders are being fulfilled by our production and delivery team on schedule.
2. Make progress reports to monitor the production and delivery status.
3. Arrange for issuance of delivery orders for completed works and liaise with relevant departments for delivery.
4. Handle customer enquiries and schedule arrangements by phone and email.
5. Actively involve in meetings and supervision of progress at the production floor.

Candidate should have some or all of the following qualities to succeed in the job:

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in handling customers and coordinating with production is required for this position.
• Have strong personality to be able to handle pressure.
• Possess good negotiation skills to coordinate between customers and production.
• Able to compose and reply emails in proper structured English.
• Able to interpret fabrication drawings.
• Basic knowledge of workings of sheet metal/facade/panels fabrication will be an advantage.

• Estimation of cost with guidelines for sheet metals and processes; comprising Aluminium, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, brackets and structural steel fabrication.
• Procurement quantities take off.
• Progress Claims preparaton and management.
• Prepare quotations in ERP system.
• Handle customer enquiries.
• Filling of records and documents.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned.
• 5 days work week.

Requirements

1. At least 3 years of relevant experience in project or fabrication estimation.
2. 2-3 years relevant experience in construction industry, preferably in external building facades is an advantage.
3. Knowledge of Autocad applications would be an advantage.
4. Proficiency in visualising/interpreting facade shop and manufacturing drawings.
5. Able to compose and reply emails in proper structured English.
6. Knowledge in MS Office.
7. Willing to learn and possess good responsibilities. Training will be provided for those with basic experience.
